"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not" (John 1:1-5).

What is it in these words that the god of this world does not want men and women to see or hear? What is The Point that keeps the minds of men and women from coming to The Knowledge of The Truth of GOD?

Let us look at this passage of Scripture more closely that The Light of The Word in each verse might be Witnessed of GOD in our hearts. In the first verse of John's testimony, The Light of GOD shined on him and revealed, saying...

"In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God."

From The WITNESS in the book of Hebrews, comes The Truth of The Son, Who is made known to us from this verse as God, Who was with GOD in the beginning. The Father was not speaking of HIMSELF, but was declaring to us The Truth of HIS Son, Who is God.

The Son is so much like The Father that The Father is pleased to reveal Himself through HIS Son. And because He allowed nothing in Himself to distort The Glory of The Father to men, He testified of The Father and of Himself and said, "I and [my] Father are one" (John 10:30).

Because of John's witness in seeking to make known The Truth, he again wanted men to know that The Son of GOD was there with the Father in the beginning, long before anything was created by GOD through Him. To address this point, John testified and said...

"The same was in the beginning
with God."

According to The Witness given to Solomon, The Word revealed to our understanding as part of His testimony that He was brought forth or was setup from everlasting, from the beginning or for our frame of reference, from before the earth was. He made it clear again that before the mountains were settled, before the hills were made, He was brought forth. This testimony reveals over and over that He was and is The Begotten of GOD. He was not created as some would try to prove, but was born of The Father, WHO is THE SOURCE of all things. To understand and confirm this, John said in the next verse, saying...

"All things were made by him;
and without him was not
any thing made that was made."

Notice that The Father made all things that were made by HIS Word. HE did not create all things by them (HIS words), but by Him (HIS Word), Who is The Son of GOD, Who was with HIM from the very beginning. For in HIS Word is The Power of GOD to do and to create according to all The Will or Command of GOD. Through His servant Paul, The Word testified of The LORD and said, "...Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail. But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?" (Hebrews 1:10-14)

And through His servant John, The Word of GOD has revealed to us and said...

"In him was life;
and the life was the light of men."

Today, many would seek to prepare their hearts for the battle against the enemy of GOD and man in these last days. But, because the whole world had fallen asleep during The Dark Ages to The Truth of GOD, many are not aware that they are standing now on the side with the enemy in holding to their beliefs against their fellowship with The Father and HIS Son Jesus Christ. And because of their blindness to The Truth, many have become like the ten virgins, who fell asleep as they waited for The Bridegroom to come. By being in darkness to The Truth, many will reject that, which GOD has ordained onto their glory from the beginning.

To prepare our hearts to keep HIS Light of Truth in this world of darkness, Jesus said to the disciples, who would believe on Him, saying "...Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth. While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them. But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him: That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed? Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again, He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with [their] eyes, nor understand with [their] heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

"These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him. Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess [him], lest they should be put out of the synagogue: For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God. Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me. And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me. I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.

"And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak" (John 12:35-50).
