What is the third angel's message?

To understand the third angel's message
We need to receive the important message to our hearts.
To understand the points of the message to our heart.
The method of presenting the message to our heart.
And The SOURCE of The Message given to our heart.

The Important Message

Through His messenger Malachi, The Word of The LORD has given an important message to the priests of Judah, who gave not Glory unto The NAME of The LORD. HE said by HIS Word through the lips of Malachi, saying "...now, O ye priests, this commandment [is] for you. If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay [it] to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay [it] to heart. Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, [even] the dung of your solemn feasts; and [one] shall take you away with it. And ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you, that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the LORD of hosts. My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him [for] the fear wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name. The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity. For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he [is] the messenger of the LORD of hosts.

"But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the LORD of hosts. Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law. Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers? Judah hath dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah hath profaned the holiness of the LORD which he loved, and hath married the daughter of a strange god" (Malachi 2:1-11).

The Important Points

These are the important points given in the message
to the hearts of the priests, who were to lead
GOD'S people to give glory to HIS NAME.
(1).   The message is given to the priests
(2).   Conditions are given if they will not hear.
(3).   Conditions are given if they will not lay the message
        to heart.
(4).   The message is to give glory unto The LORD'S NAME.
(5).   HE will send a curse upon those, who will not hear.
(6).   HE will curse their blessings.
(7).   HE has cursed them already, because they will not hear.
(8).   HE will corrupt their seed, or their children and spread
        dung upon their faces even the dung of their solemn
        feasts, or solem gatherings, and they shall be taken
        away with it.
(9).   They shall know that HE has sent this commandment
        unto them.
(10). They shall know that HIS Covenant might be with Levi.
(11). HIS Covenant was with him of Life and Peace.
(12). HE gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared
        HIM and was afraid before The LORD'S NAME.
(13). The law of truth was in his mouth and iniquity was not
        found in his lips.
(14). Levi walked with Him in peace and equity, and did turn
        many away from iniquity.
(15). For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they
        should seek The Law at his mouth:
(16). For Levi is The messenger of The LORD of hosts.

"The cause of the Problem"
(17). But the priests are departed out of The Way
(19). They have caused many to stumble at The Law
(20). They have corrupted the covenant of Levi
(21). Therefore The LORD has also made the priest
        contemptible and humbled before all the people,
        according as they have not kept HIS ways, but they have
        been partial in the law.

"Questions on The NAME of The LORD"
(22). Have we not all one father?
(23). Has not one God created us?
(24). Why do we deal treacherously every man against his
        brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?
(25). Judah hath dealt treacherously, and an abomination is
        committed in Israel and in Jerusalem.
(26). For Judah hath profaned the holiness of the LORD which         he loved, and hath married the daughter of a strange
        god.

"The LORD will cut off the man that doeth this, the master and the scholar, out of the tabernacles of Jacob, and him that offereth an offering unto the LORD of hosts. And this have ye done again, covering the altar of the LORD with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth [it] with good will at your hand. Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet [is] she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant. And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth. For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for [one] covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously. Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied [him]? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil [is] good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where [is] the God of judgment?" (Malachi 2:12-17).

The method in presenting The Message
The tribe of Judah was married to the wife of their youth, but they
changed their glory to marry the daughter of a strange god.

Some might wonder how could the whole tribe of Judah marry the daughter of a strange god? There are many words of Counsel from The LORD by HIS Word of Wisdom through the prophets to His people, to give not their sons, or daughters to join in marriage with those, who believe not The True GOD. For those, who were to be joined to GOD, they were to be joined to HIM by receiving and keeping The Covenant of HIS Word of Life and Peace. The Covenant of Life and Peace were of GOD'S Word, Which was given of GOD to the father's of Israel, and to the levites, who handled The Holy Things received of GOD by HIS Word of Wisdom. The Wisdom of GOD was taught to the seed of Israel for many generations through those, who received and believed in GOD by HIS Word. This Wisdom received of GOD by HIS Word in the believers, is seen as a body of believers, or a church, which is viewed as a Woman, who has made a vow to keep The Covenant of Life and Peace, to walk with GOD and to nurture and feed the believers both The Milk of The Word and The Meat of The Word, as well as The Water and The Bread of The Word from birth unto adulthood.

Those, who were to come to GOD, were born into a Holy Communion of this Knowledge and Glory of GOD by receiving GOD'S Word of Wisdom through those, who knew GOD and walked with HIM in keeping The Covenant of HIS Word. As the bride of Christ is His church, which is a body of believers formed out of The Wisdom of GOD, by the receiving and believing of The Truth of GOD'S Word, to walk with Him in The Light and Life of The Knowledge of GOD, so the harlot or a strange woman is a body of believers, who have opened their hearts to believe and receive error, which is not of GOD, to walk in darkness which leads to death. The strange woman is not a pure church, but is form by believing teachings that do not lead to Life, Light and Peace with GOD. By her teachings, she covers her sin with darkness, to lead men away from GOD, and with violence leads them to death. To forsake The Covenant of Life and Peace, and join with those outside of the fellowship of obedience to GOD and HIS Word, through the keeping of HIS Law, many of the leaders of GOD'S people, open their hearts to receive false teachings that were not of GOD by HIS Word. This led the church to change their love for The Truth to deal treacherously against The Word and Wisdom of GOD, and their fellow men, to follow and joined themselves to a strange woman, who's teachings comes from strange gods, which are no gods.

Through Solomon, The Word of Wisdom from The LORD said, "Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips [shall be] right things. For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness [is] an abomination to my lips. All the words of my mouth [are] in righteousness; [there is] nothing froward or perverse in them. They [are] all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge. Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold. For wisdom [is] better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it...." "Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed [are they that] keep my ways. Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. Blessed [is] the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD. But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death" (Proverbs 8:6-11; 32-36). Notice that The Word of Wisdom has many gates, posts and doors through which The Word of Wisdom is heard and received into the hearts of those, who will find Life. The doors and gates are the means by which The Word of Wisdom is open to the hearts of men to The Knowledge of GOD'S Word of Wisdom.

Re-presenters of GOD'S Word
The Messengers are the re-presenters of GOD'S Word to men.
They are the lips that speak and present His Words of Truth.

The Word of The LORD has revealed that HIS Mouth shall speak Truth, and wickedness is an abomination to His lips. All the words of HIS Mouth are in righteousness. The LORD has revealed by HIS Word that The Law of Truth was in the mouth of Levi, and iniquity was not found in his lips. Levi was the lips of The Mouth of The LORD. Through Levi, The LORD spoke by HIS Word of Wisdom to the priest, who had departed out of The Way of Truth. Levi was not The SOURCE of The Word of The LORD. He was not The Word of The LORD to the priest, but he was one of many doors, or gates through whom The LORD has spoken and presented HIS Word to His people, just as the priest were called to do. But they had forsaken The LORD and HIS Word, to cause many to stumble at The Covenant of GOD'S Law, by being partial to The Law of GOD. By not presenting The Truth of GOD'S Word to His body--The church, to give Glory to GOD, WHO sent and give HIS Word, the priest caused many to profane The Covenant of their fathers, or the wife of thy youth. By forsaking The Truth of GOD'S Word, they changed from GOD'S Glory of Righteousness in HIS Word, to wrong their own souls, and the people, who look to them as the gates and doors to receive The Law of Truth from GOD'S Word through their lips to the hearts of the people. By changing from The Glory of GOD'S Word of Wisdom to perverseness, many of the ministers of GOD'S Word have today forsaken The LORD and HIS Word--The Fountain of Living Waters, to carve them out broken cisterns that can hold no water. They give not glory to GOD by receiving The Water of Life from The Truth of HIS Word. They cannot give Glory to GOD, because their teachings are not based on a "Thus saith The LORD".

As a messenger and a member of Christ Temple, and a gate through whom The LORD spoke HIS Word, The Word of The LORD spoke by Solomon, saying, "My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, [and] apply thine heart to understanding; Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, [and] liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as [for] hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God. For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth [cometh] knowledge and understanding. He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: [he is] a buckler to them that walk uprightly. He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.

"Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; [yea], every good path. When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul; Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee: To deliver thee from the way of the evil [man], from the man that speaketh froward things; Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness; Who rejoice to do evil, [and] delight in the frowardness of the wicked; Whose ways [are] crooked, and [they] froward in their paths: To deliver thee from the strange woman, [even] from the stranger [which] flattereth with her words; Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God. For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead. None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of life. That thou mayest walk in the way of good [men], and keep the paths of the righteous. For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it. But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it" (Proverbs 2:1-22). Notice that the wife of Judah is a woman, or a church who grew up to forsake The Guide of her youth, which was The Paths of Uprightness and The Covenant of her God.

Through His servant Levi, The Word of The LORD said, "Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he [is] like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap: And he shall sit [as] a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness. Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in former years. And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in [his] wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger [from his right], and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts. For I [am] the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept [them]. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts...." (Malachi 3:1-7). Notice that this is on condition that they hear and lay the message to their hearts, to return to HIM by receiving and following HIS Word, to walk in the paths of uprightness, and not in their sins. His Message is to repent and return to HIS Covenant of Life and Peace, to walk with GOD.

Below are examples of GOD'S message to the priest of Judah, which concerns many,
who are doing the same today, in not following HIS Way of uprightness and Truth.

The dung of their solemn feasts is the errors of doubt, tradition, superstition, and the mass of rubbish that the priest piled up to cover The Truth of GOD'S Word from His people. They the priest, who do these things, to cause the people to stumble and go against The LORD and HIS Word, they will be despised, and will be held in contempt, to be taken away in their shame.

Because of the corrupt hearts of the seed of Eli, "...there came a man of God unto Eli, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Did I plainly appear unto the house of thy father, when they were in Egypt in Pharaoh's house? And did I choose him out of all the tribes of Israel [to be] my priest, to offer upon mine altar, to burn incense, to wear an ephod before me? and did I give unto the house of thy father all the offerings made by fire of the children of Israel? Wherefore kick ye at my sacrifice and at mine offering, which I have commanded [in my] habitation; and honourest thy sons above me, to make yourselves fat with the chiefest of all the offerings of Israel my people? Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed [that] thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed. Behold, the days come, that I will cut off thine arm, and the arm of thy father's house, that there shall not be an old man in thine house. And thou shalt see an enemy [in my] habitation, in all [the wealth] which [God] shall give Israel: and there shall not be an old man in thine house for ever. And the man of thine, [whom] I shall not cut off from mine altar, [shall be] to consume thine eyes, and to grieve thine heart: and all the increase of thine house shall die in the flower of their age. And this [shall be] a sign unto thee, that shall come upon thy two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas; in one day they shall die both of them. And I will raise me up a faithful priest, [that] shall do according to [that] which [is] in mine heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever. And it shall come to pass, [that] every one that is left in thine house shall come [and] crouch to him for a piece of silver and a morsel of bread, and shall say, Put me, I pray thee, into one of the priests' offices, that I may eat a piece of bread" (1 Samuel 2:27-36).

Speaking of The LORD, The Word of The LORD testified through the lips of Jeremiah and said, "O LORD, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, [and] they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living waters" (Jeremiah 17:13). And through the lips of Ezekiel, The Word of The LORD spoke by him and said, "Thus saith the Lord GOD; No stranger, uncircumcised in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any stranger that [is] among the children of Israel. And the Levites that are gone away far from me, when Israel went astray, which went astray away from me after their idols; they shall even bear their iniquity. Yet they shall be ministers in my sanctuary, [having] charge at the gates of the house, and ministering to the house: they shall slay the burnt offering and the sacrifice for the people, and they shall stand before them to minister unto them. Because they ministered unto them before their idols, and caused the house of Israel to fall into iniquity; therefore have I lifted up mine hand against them, saith the Lord GOD, and they shall bear their iniquity. And they shall not come near unto me, to do the office of a priest unto me, nor to come near to any of my holy things, in the most holy [place]: but they shall bear their shame, and their abominations which they have committed. But I will make them keepers of the charge of the house, for all the service thereof, and for all that shall be done therein. But the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok, that kept the charge of my sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from me, they shall come near to me to minister unto me, and they shall stand before me to offer unto me the fat and the blood, saith the Lord GOD: They shall enter into my sanctuary, and they shall come near to my table, to minister unto me, and they shall keep my charge" (Ezekiel 44:-16).

Through His messenger Ellen G. White, GOD gave messages by HIS Word
to the church, which concerns many today, who are not following
HIS Way of uprightness in The Truth. She said....

The Judgment of Amalek
Testimonies to Ministers and Gospel workers 1897

"Just how soon this refining process will begin I cannot say, but it will not be long deferred. He whose fan is in His hand will cleanse His temple of its moral defilement. He will thoroughly purge His floor. God has a controversy with all who practice the least injustice; for in so doing they reject the authority of God and imperil their interest in the atonement, the redemption which Christ has undertaken for every son and daughter of Adam. Will it pay to take a course abhorrent to God? Will it pay to put upon your censers strange fire to offer before God, and say it makes no difference? {TM 373.1}

It has not been after God's order...... The state of things now exists that was presented before me as a warning. I am sick at heart at the representation. The Lord gave warnings to prevent this demoralizing condition of things, but they have not been heeded. "Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savor, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden underfoot of men." {TM 373.2}

I appeal to my brethren to wake up. Unless a change takes place speedily, I must give the facts to the people; for this state of things must change; unconverted men must no longer be managers and directors in so important and sacred work. With David we are forced to say, "It is time for Thee, Lord, to work: for they have made void Thy law." {TM 373.3}

In His Temple
The Desire of Ages, 1898

"In the cleansing of the temple, Jesus was announcing His mission as the Messiah, and entering upon His work. That temple, erected for the abode of the divine Presence, was designed to be an object lesson for Israel and for the world. From eternal ages it was God's purpose that every created being, from the bright and holy seraph to man, should be a temple for the indwelling of the Creator. Because of sin, humanity ceased to be a temple for God. Darkened and defiled by evil, the heart of man no longer revealed the glory of the Divine One. But by the incarnation of the Son of God, the purpose of Heaven is fulfilled. God dwells in humanity, and through saving grace the heart of man becomes again His temple. God designed that the temple at Jerusalem should be a continual witness to the high destiny open to every soul. But the Jews had not understood the significance of the building they regarded with so much pride. They did not yield themselves as holy temples for the Divine Spirit. The courts of the temple at Jerusalem, filled with the tumult of unholy traffic, represented all too truly the temple of the heart, defiled by the presence of sensual passion and unholy thoughts. In cleansing the temple from the world's buyers and sellers, Jesus announced His mission to cleanse the heart from the defilement of sin,--from the earthly desires, the selfish lusts, the evil habits, that corrupt the soul. "The Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to His temple, even the Messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, He shall come, saith the Lord of hosts. But who may abide the day of His coming? and who shall stand when He appeareth? for He is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap: and He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and He shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver." Mal. 3:1-3. {DA 161.1}

Ask, and Ye Shall Receive
The Signs of the Times, March 15, 1899

These preparations must be made by all who expect to receive anything of the Lord. Even those who worship idols make special preparations, and bring their gifts to the altar, before they ask their gods to do for them the things that they desire. And shall those who believe in God, the living God, approach Him with little reverence and in human superiority? Shall they be like the Pharisee, who praised and adored himself, and in his pride and self-sufficiency depreciated those whom he regarded as sinners? The Lord will not hear the prayers of such. {ST, March 15, 1899 par. 12}

If the Lord were as fitful, as impulsive, as changeable, as human beings are, those who show such fruits of unrighteousness would be consumed in their sins; but the Lord bears long with the perversity of men. He is constantly reproving them through His Word, constantly drawing them, that they may repent and be converted, that He may heal them. Few consider that it is a solemn thing to pray. How few watch unto prayer, and seek to speak and act in harmony with their prayers! The apostle Paul says: "Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of His good-pleasure." {ST, March 15, 1899 par. 13}

An Appeal for Help
Australasian Union Conference Record, July 28, 1899

God declares: "Behold, I will send My messenger, and he shall prepare the way before Me; and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to His temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in; behold He shall come, saith the Lord of Hosts." The Lord comes to His temple to find those who are sincere. He measures the worshippers. He knows those who are true-hearted and self-sacrificing. "Who may abide the day of His coming; and who shall stand when He appeareth?" Who will stand in the day of investigation. This does not mean the time when the books are opened. It is a preparatory work. "For He is like a refiner's fire and like fuller's soap." To those who have felt unconcerned, the Spirit comes as a reprover, and shows them that they need to do something to cleanse the temple. He investigates the temple and the worshippers thereof. "He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; and He shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto God an offering in righteousness." It will be as it was in the days of old, when the people were bringing their gifts for the building of the tabernacle. Their offerings were accepted, and they brought so much that the word went forth, "Bring no more; there is enough." Even though an offering may be small, the Lord will receive it as wholly acceptable; and He can make it go a long way. "Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the Lord, as in the days of old, and as in former years." {AUCR, July 28, 1899 par. 10}

"I am the Lord; I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from Mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto Me, and I will return unto you, saith the Lord of Hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return? Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed Me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed Thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse; for ye have robbed Me, even this whole nation." {AUCR, July 28, 1899 par. 11}

Today men are robbing God. For the costly, massive structures they are rearing, they will have to give an account. The means thus used is needed to send the Gospel to the dark places of the earth. The owners are accountable to God for the misuses of the means God has given them. {AUCR, July 28, 1899 par. 12}

"Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in Mine house, and prove Me now herewith, saith the Lord of Hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of Hosts. And all nations shall call you blessed; for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the Lord of Hosts." {AUCR, July 28, 1899 par.

Gifts and Offerings
The Review and Herald, January 17, 1907

Here are important matters for our consideration. Read carefully the charge that God makes against those who have not fulfilled the conditions of their agreement with him. In his mercy, the Lord has bestowed rich bounties upon his people, and many have selfishly withheld from him the money for which he calls. Let all carefully examine into their business relations with their Creator. Those who will not hesitate to deal treacherously with their Maker will certainly not hesitate to deal treacherously with their fellow men. {RH, January 17, 1907 par. 8}

I desire to impress upon all our people that God regards the withholding of tithes and offerings as robbery. We are merely stewards of God. We do not own the money that passes into our hands. In its disbursement we are to be colaborers with Christ. {RH, January 17, 1907 par. 9}

We should feel an intense interest in the advancement of the work of God. This work has already grown to large proportions, but it is to advance still more rapidly. We need many more laborers, and there must be with all a spirit of self-denial, in order to provide facilities for the carrying forward of the message into new fields. In many places the work has been greatly retarded because of the scarcity of means. The rebuke of God will rest upon those who do not come up to his help. {RH, January 17, 1907 par. 10}

The House of Israel
Prophets and Kings, 1917

Today, in the spirit and power of Elias and of John the Baptist, messengers of God's appointment are calling the attention of a judgment-bound world to the solemn events soon to take place in connection with the closing hours of probation and the appearance of Christ Jesus as King of kings and Lord of lords. Soon every man is to be judged for the deeds done in the body. The hour of God's judgment has come, and upon the members of His church on earth rests the solemn responsibility of giving warning to those who are standing as it were on the very brink of eternal ruin.

To every human being in the wide world
who will give heed must be made plain the principles at stake in the great controversy being waged, principles upon which hang the destinies of all mankind. {PK 716.1}

In these final hours of probation for the sons of men, when the fate of every soul is so soon to be decided forever, the Lord of heaven and earth expects His church to arouse to action as never before. Those who have been made free in Christ through a knowledge of precious truth, are regarded by the Lord Jesus as His chosen ones, favored above all other people on the face of the earth; and He is counting on them to show forth the praises of Him who hath called them out of darkness into marvelous light. The blessings which are so liberally bestowed are to be communicated to others. The good news of salvation is to go to every nation, kindred, tongue, and people. {PK 716.2}

Through Isaiah, the servant and messenger of The Word of The LORD said, "And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins. The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

"And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious" (Isaiah 11:1-10).
