The Only Way and Door to The Father
By Carron Lake @

The Holy Place is His Sanctuary

Although Jesus opened to His disciples the understanding of seeing and hearing The Father speaking to them by their faith in Him, "Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou [then], Shew us the Father?" (John 14:8, 9). Like Philip, many remain outside of The Spiritual Sanctuary of Christ, because they receive not The Word of Faith, to see The Things GOD has revealed through and by HIS Word. Many would conclude and have concluded that Jesus and The Father is The Same Person, or that it was only Jesus speaking in response to Philip's question. Yet, if Jesus--The Word of GOD was in the form of flesh and The Father was speaking through His Lips to Philip, then as The Word spoke The Message from The Father to the priest through the lips of His servant Levi, likewise, The Father was speaking to Philip through and by the Words of HIS Son. But the disciples were not aware of HIM. Yet, it was HE, WHO spoke by HIS Word and said, "Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip?" Jesus had already revealed to them that if they have seen Him, then they have seen The Father also. It could also be said that if they have seen The Father, then they have seen also The Son, because The Son came to reveal, and was revealing The Father to them. In receiving The Word, Paul spoke of The Word of GOD to the church at Corinth and said, "...all things [are] of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation" (2 Corinthians 5:18,19).

To reveal to us and confirm the importance of this Spiritual Understanding, in receiving This Truth in our hearts, Jesus said to His disciples, "Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I [am] in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake" (John 14:10,11). This is an important message to those, who believe in Christ, to be the true worshippers in The Sanctuary of GOD'S Word. For if men receive not and believe not The Message of GOD'S Word to their hearts, then they cannot accomplish the very works that GOD has called His church to do, by The Power of HIS Word in them and through them. As Paul has said, "God....hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation." And the church cannot accomplish this work, if they remain outside of the Spiritual Sanctuary of not understanding, to see and hear The Father, by believing What HE has revealed to us by HIS Word.

It is the very work that The Father has called the church to accomplish by The Light of HIS Word in the hearts of men, that HE by HIS Word might do HIS Will in us and through us. To confirm that the disciples understood This Revelation of The Work of GOD by HIS Word in us and through us, Paul and the disciples with him testified and said, "...we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to [give] the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us" (2 Corinthians 4:5-7).

Do we not believe that The Father is in Christ, and Christ The Power of GOD is in us to do The Father's Will? The words that we speak to others on His behalf, is it of ourselves?, of our thoughts?, or is it of HIS Word, Whom HE has sent to prosper in us to do HIS Will? The Father does HIS work by HIS Word in us, that HIS NAME might be Glorified in HIS Son, Who shines through us that The Son's Name might be glorified in us. To confirm This Truth, Jesus Testified and said, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do [it]" (John 14:12-14).

Notice a very important point that needs to be brought to the notice of all, who seek to partake of the same work that The Father works through Christ. Jesus said to His disciples, he that believes on Him, the works that are worked through Him by The Father shall he--the believer work also. Now, is it possible for him that believes not on Christ to do the same works that The Father does through Christ? If the church today do not believe what Jesus has revealed to Philip about The Father being in Him, and He being in The Father, then the members of the church have not entered into The Spiritual Sanctuary of GOD'S Word, to worship The Father in Spirit and in Truth. And if they like Philip have not seen, or heard The Father through HIS Word, then they are walking in darkness to believe error from the teachings of those, who have departed out of The Way of The Faith, to marry the daughter of a strange god, to changed their glory for that which doth not profit. And they have dealt treacherously against the wife of their youth, to changed their gods, which are yet no gods, to forsake Him The Fountain of Living Waters, to swear by them that are no gods.

As GOD sent a Message by Levi to the priest, to lay the message upon their hearts, likewise, HE has sent a message by His servant to His people to take heed to HIS Message of warning, to avoid departing from The Faith in HIM and HIS Word. Through His messenger of HIS Word HE said, "....there are coming into educational institutions and into the churches everywhere spiritualistic teachings that undermine faith in God and in His word. The theory that God is an essence pervading all nature is received by many who profess to believe the Scriptures; but, however beautifully clothed, this theory is a most dangerous deception. It misrepresents God and is a dishonor to His greatness and majesty. And it surely tends not only to mislead, but to debase men. Darkness is its element, sensuality its sphere. The result of accepting it is separation from God. And to fallen human nature this means ruin. Our condition through sin is unnatural, and the power that restores us must be supernatural, else it has no value. There is but one power that can break the hold of evil from the hearts of men, and that is the power of God in Jesus Christ. Only through the blood of the Crucified One is there cleansing from sin. His grace alone can enable us to resist and subdue the tendencies of our fallen nature. The spiritualistic theories concerning God make His grace of no effect. If God is an essence pervading all nature, then He dwells in all men; and in order to attain holiness, man has only to develop the power within him. These theories, followed to their logical conclusion, sweep away the whole Christian economy. They do away with the necessity for the atonement and make man his own savior. These theories regarding God make His word of no effect, and those who accept them are in great danger of being led finally to look upon the whole Bible as a fiction. They may regard virtue as better than vice; but, having shut out God from His rightful position of sovereignty, they place their dependence upon human power, which, without God, is worthless. The unaided human will has no real power to resist and overcome evil. The defenses of the soul are broken down...." {The Ministry of Healing, page 428, paragraph 2-4}

Like the priest of Judah, who departed out of The Way, and had caused many to stumble at The Law by their corruption of the covenant of Levi; there were men within the church who presented spiritualistic teachings that have undermined the faith of the people of GOD that they might not see and hear The Father speaking to them by HIS Word. Through His messenger, The LORD by HIS Word said, "They make of no effect the truth of heavenly origin, and rob the people of God of their past experience, giving them instead a false science." {Selected Messages Book 1 page 203.4}

The spiritualistic teachings that have been brought into the faith, have robed the people of GOD of their past experience. The teachings have been made so prominent as the grand truths of the faith that many within the church have grown up to believe these spiritualistic teachings to be of The Truth. Even the messenger's words were made to support false claims, to prevent the people from seeking The Truth about GOD and HIS Word. And because the spiritualistic theories were not seen as error, for many years the leadership of this people sought not judgment, to understand the truth of why The Former and The Latter Rain, in His season had not been poured out to the hearts of the people, who thirst for The Rain to quench their thirsty souls. As The LORD said by His messenger, they "having shut out God from His rightful position of sovereignty, they place their dependence upon human power, which, without God, is worthless." Although this work of deception has been accepted by some in the church for at lease 80 years, to cause the people to stumble out of The way of Truth and depart from The LORD; many of the leaders today are not even aware of the deception that they have accepted as Truth, because they like Philip could not see by faith The Truth of God's rightful position of sovereignty, Which Jesus was revealing to the hearts of The Spiritual Sanctuary of His disciples. But as Jesus said through the heart of John, saying, "...the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: That all [men] should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life" (John 5:22-24).

Therefore, it is not only important to hear Christ Words and believe on The Father, WHO sent Him that we might work as He worked, but by believing on Him, we will have Everlasting Life, and shall not come into condemnation, but is passed from death unto Life. For by receiving Christ, Who is Life to dwell within our hearts by hearing and believing His words, our hearts become His Holy Place of abode. To confirm this Truth, it was revealed through Paul, who spoke of Him to the members of His Sanctuary and said, "Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses [was faithful] in all his house. For this [man] was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house. For every house is builded by some [man]; but he that built all things [is] God. And Moses verily [was] faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after; But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

"Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in [their] heart; and they have not known my ways. So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.) Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God" (Hebrews 3:1-12).

Notice that Jesus revealed to the disciples that the works that was done through Him by The Father, he that believed on Him will do the same works also. And for forty years The Father worked by HIS Word to reconcile the children of Israel unto HIMSELF, but they backslide from HIM more and more, by not taking heed to HIS Word to return to HIM. HE has call the church to a Holy profession to co-labor with HIS Word in reconciling the hearts of men back to HIM. But many in the church have been led to stumble away from The Truth of HIS Word by false doctrines of GOD and HIS Word. Yet, The Father has said by HIS Word, ...I [am] the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept [them]. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts...." (Malachi 3:6, 7). As The Word of The LORD spoke by the lips of Levi to present a message to the priest, to return to HIS Covenant of Life and Peace, likewise The LORD speaks HIS Word to those, who partake of HIS Word, to speak to the hearts of men in every nation, kindred, tongue and people, to return to HIS Covenant of Life and Peace with HIM through the receiving of HIS Word of Life, to accomplish HIS Will in us, to pass from death unto Life. For The Word of Life said to those, who received Him, "If ye love me, keep my commandments" (John 14:15).

And if we are to retun to GOD, to be reconciled to HIM, and have Everlasting Life by The Power of HIS Word in us, then we will love and keep HIS Covenant of Life and Peace that says HE is our GOD and we are HIS people. If we will exault HIM and HIS Word to His rightful position of sovereignty in our hearts, then Christ testified and said, "...I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; [Even] the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you" (John 14:16, 17).

By not loving GOD'S Word in their hearts, to keep fully GOD'S Covenant of Life and Peace in them, many have been blinded by the enemy to remain outside of The Spiritual House of Christ without The Oil of His Spirit in their lamps, because of their unbelief and lack of Faith in Him, to see The Truth He was revealing to the hearts of His disciples, who stood before Him, seeing and hearing The Father speaking to them through HIS Word. And because of the blindness of men, who understood not The Way of The LORD through HIS Word, many spiritualistic theories have undermined The Faith of the people of God, to trust not in GOD'S word, but to their own understanding and the theories of men. Although the theories presented by men do not harmonies with The Word of Scripture, the doctrines of men have lead the people of GOD to stumble away from believing GOD by HIS Word. Jesus made it clear to His disciples that The Spirit of Truth will not be received by the world, because the world cannot see The Spirit of Truth; neither does the world know The Spirit of Truth. Yet, He said to them, "but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you". Jesus made it known to His disciples, who received Him that if they loved Him, and kept His Commandments, He will pray to The Father, and HE shall give to them another Comforter, that The Comforter may abide with them forever.

For many, who have not The Gift of Faith in GOD'S Word, these words of Jesus appear to be most difficult for them to understand. Yet, if we were to follow and believe in GOD'S Word by faith, to see The unseen of HIM, WHO is revealed by HIS Word, then The Truth will be understood by those, who believe in HIS Word. If Jesus is The Only Way to The Father, WHO sent Him, then by presenting a theory that there are more than One Way to The Father, men are denying His claim when He says, "no man cometh unto the Father, but by me"--The Only Way to The Father. For it is revealed to us in Paul's letter to Timothy that "...[there is] one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time" (1 Timothy 2:5, 6). That due time is now for men to proclaim The Truth that He is The Only Way to be reconciled to GOD.

One mediator between God and men
One Mediator between God and men.

If Jesus is The Only Mediator between God and men, then Who is this other Comforter that He will pray to The Father for men to receive? By asking this question, a person that is young in The faith is standing in the same place that Philip stood, when he requested to see The Father, WHOM they were not aware was there with them in Christ. For it was made clear that The Father was in Christ reconciling the world unto HIMSELF. Because of man's sin in breaking GOD'S Covenant of Life and Peace, HE sent HIS Son into the world to reconcile man back to GOD. And if man responds to GOD by receiving HIS Word, Whom HE has sent, then Jesus has promised to His disciples, who received Him that He will pray to The Father that HE--The Father might give those, who received Him another Comforter.

To make it clear to His disciples, as to Who The other Comforter might be to those, who received Him, Jesus presented a principle, and said, "If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do [it]" (John 14:14). This principle not only applied to them, but to Him also. For if the principle did not apply also to Him, then He would not need to pray to our Father, to ask any thing in HIS NAME, because He Himself was God. But through the messenger of The Word by Malachi, The Father HIMSELF has revealed to us by HIS Word, Who it is that would come to those, who are reconciled to HIM by HIS Word, Whom HE has sent. For HE said by HIS Word through Malachi, "...Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts...." (Malachi 3:7). If Jesus and The Father is The Same Person, or two of Three Divine Beings, then He did not need to pray to Himself to ask Himself to come and dwell with those, who have been reconciled to HIM. Yet, it has been made clear that He is The Only Mediator between GOD and men. He is The One, Who intercedes on the behalf of those, who are set apart, to reconcile man to GOD and GOD to man. It was His Hands that were stretched out on the cross to reconcile us back to GOD. And it was GOD, WHO so Loved us that HE gave to us HIS Son to reconcile us back to HIMSELF. By receiving The Gift of HIS Son, we are drawn back to GOD by HIS Word, Who became flesh by putting on humanity.

For further conformation on the other Comforter, Who would come to dwell with those, who love The Word of GOD, another clue was revealed to the disciples through The Word of GOD, as to Who the other Comforter would be. This clue is found in the response that The Father gave to Philip by HIS Word. HE said, "Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? (John 14:9). Jesus confirmed this clue in the response to His disciples when He said, "...the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you" (John 14:17). Notice that it was The Father, WHO was in Christ, Who was there with them, but they knew not of HIM until Jesus confirmed that HE spoke to them through Him. Jesus made it clear to them that they knew HIM, because He had revealed HIM to them in His Witness of HIM. He said, HE dwells with you, and shall be in you.

Jesus further confirmed and Testified to them of Who The Comforter would be, when He said, "I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. At that day ye shall know that I [am] in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him<" (John 14:18-21). Notice that Jesus has brought to view another principle, which He presented to the hearts of His disciples in His Spiritual Sanctuary. As The Father was revealed to them through Him, and HE spoke to them through Him, He has revealed to them that He will manifest Himself through them--His Spiritual Sanctuary. This would mean that it is He, Who dwells in His House, which we are, and The Father dwells in Him--HIS House--The Most Holy Place in Him in us.

We live today, because GOD has given to us life in HIS Son. But men will not have Eternal Life in HIS Son, until they choose Him--The Covenant of Life and Peace, to dwell with HIM, WHO dwells in Him. Whoever has HIS Commandments of Life and Peace in HIS Son, and keeps them, they will show their love for HIM by the evidence of keeping HIS Commandments. And whoever reveals this evidence in their love for Him, they shall be loved by The Father, and HE will love them and will manifest HIMSELF to them.

To make it more clear to their understanding and ours, "Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me" (John 14:22-24).

Notice that Jesus did not add a third Divine being into the picture He had revealed to the Sanctuary of the hearts of His disciples. He clearly revealed to them that The Father is revealed through Him to those, who will receive Him. And Father will reveal HIMSELF through Him to those, in whom HE has entrusted HIS Word to keep HIS Covenant of Life and Peace. It is in the hearts of those, who are made partakers of GOD'S Word, by keeping HIS Covenant of Life and Peace that both The Father and The Son are revealed in the same works of reconciliation, which HE has committed to those, Who received HIS Son, to be made partakers with Him. To confirm that there has only been The Father and The Son, and those, who are made partakers with HIM by HIS Word, Paul testified of GOD and said, " us [there is but] one God, the Father, of whom [are] all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom [are] all things, and we by him. Howbeit [there is] not in every man that knowledge..." (1 Corinthians 8:6, 7).

Partakers in His work
He that believes in GOD'S Word, the same works
that He did shall he do also.

To further confirm that there has only been The Father and The Son, and those to whom HE has made partakers with HIM by HIS Word, The LORD by HIS Word revealed HIS Word of Truth through Luke, to reconcile us back to HIS Word of Truth. Being one of the many partakers of GOD'S Word, Luke testified in his revealing of both The Father and HIS Son; and speaking of Jesus, he said, In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight. All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and [he] to whom the Son will reveal [him]. And he turned him unto [his] disciples, and said privately, Blessed [are] the eyes which see the things that ye see: For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen [them]; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard [them]" (Luke 10:21-24).

Notice that the word ["he"] to whom the Son will reveal [The Father is speaking not of one person in a single sense, but in a plural sense. Meaning that He is speaking of those, whom He has made partakers of Him by their receiving of HIS Word of reconciliation, to do the same works by HIS Word in them. Jesus said to those, who received Him, saying, "These things have I spoken unto you, being [yet] present with you. But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you" (John 14:25, 26). Notice a very important point to understand what Jesus is saying, not only to them, but to all, who would hear HIS Voice, or The Father's Word speaking through them, to men in His Name.

To confirm The Atonement of Jesus being One with those, who have received Him and The Father through Him, Jesus prayed to The Father on behalf of His disciples, who received Him, and also for us, who shall believe on Him through their testimony, and witness of both The Father and Himself. He said, "I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, [art] in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me" (John 17:14-23).

Notice that it was the disciples, who received Him and The Father through Him that He sent into the world as He was sent from The Father also into the world. They were not one person, but ONE PERSON was working by HIS Word in and through them. For The Father said by HIS Word through Isaiah, saying, "I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to [him that is] far off, and to [him that is] near, saith the LORD; and I will heal him" (Isaiah 57:19). And through His servant John, The Word of GOD has given to us a message, saying, "That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship [is] with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full" (1John 1:3, 4). I pray that you also well take heed to HIS call by receiving HIS Word to hear and answer HIS Word of Life and Peace, to pass from death to Life, by abiding in The Truth of HIS Word.
