Are we today beholding The Face of The LORD by our faith? Do we have the eyes of faith to see and receive HIS Truth, Which HE has revealed to us? Do we understand why some might receive the ablity to see The Truth and why some do not? Do we care whether, or not we are being prepared to see Him Face to face at His coming?

It is written, "...Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:32). It is GOD the Father, WHO desires that we might receive the Truth of the gospel. However, it is also written in The Word by His servant Paul, saying, "...If our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them" (2 Corinthians 4:3,4).

And because the minds of men and women have been blinded to the receiving of HIS Truth, Paul wrote and said, "...We speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory" (1 Corinthians 2:7,8).

The disciples of Jesus, including the children of Israel and many of the surrounding nations were all blessed of GOD to see and receive The Promise that was given through Moses. There were men and women, who traveled from city to city, beholding the miracles that The Father was doing through HIS Son, Whom they saw face to Face. And although the works that Jesus did glorified The Father, many of the Jews, who were called to be His disciples were in darkness to The Light shining upon them. Because of this darkness, many within the world are today rejecting The Word of GOD, Who was given of GOD to defused the world of darkness with The Light of His Father's glory.

Like the Jews, who were called to be the people of GOD, many within the Christian Church and the world are today unaware of the darkness that is now enshrouding the earth. It is a darkness that has taken root in the hearts of men. A darkness that has existed before the earth was, and has cause a people called to be the children of GOD to crucify their Lord of Glory. Why did they do it? Why are people still rejecting The Truth of GOD? John would say, because "they knew Him not." "Paul would say, "For had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory."

It is in receiving the Light of Truth, or The Gospel of The Kingdom in our hearts, that we are empowered by The Spirit of GOD to labor together with HIM in ministering The Light of HIS Word to those, who are held captive in spiritual darkness. Yet, year after year, we have heard many of our leaders within our churches calling out to GOD in prayer to bless our churches with the revival of HIS Holy Spirit. The question we should be asking ourselves is this; "Has The LORD not answered our prayers in the years that we have prayed for HIS revival in our churches?" "Have we not received The Light of Truth in our hearts that we might be empowered and revived by HIS Spirit?" "Have we not responded to the workings of The LORD by HIS Spirit in and through us in the years following our request in prayer? Has The Father not answered our prayers for revival?

After making a request in prayer to GOD, that The Spirit of GOD might revive the members of his church, one brother in Christ received some Light on what he taught might be the solution to the problem of achieving the desired result. With The Light of The Word shining on him, he read The Word of GOD, as He shined from The Father, Who said, ,

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves,
and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways;
then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin,
and will heal their land" (2 Chronicles 7:14).

After coming across this verse of Scripture, which has enlightened his mind to a new approach in coming before The LORD, many of our Christian churches have join in prayer with him to set in motion a reaction of preparing our hearts for the outpouring of The Holy Spirit. With our willing hearts, many of our churches have prayed that The Spirit of GOD might do HIS Work in and through us, which was started by Him centuries before at creation, when HE said, "...Let there be Light, and there was Light" (Genesis 1:3). But because many are today in darkness to the Truth of GOD, HIS Face is yet to shined upon them.

The verse above in 2 Chronicles 7:14, had been selected as the theme behind this prayer movement. And although this is a great movement in which all should have taken part, there are some conditions that must be met in order for us as a body of believers to receive the desired result.

If the conditions of the promises of GOD are fulfilled in HIS people, then the desired result will follow, based upon HIS Word, Which is gone out of His mouth; and was recorded by His servant Isaiah in chapter 45:19-25, which says, "I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right. Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save.
Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me. Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed. In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory."

Are we seeking in vain to see the Face of The LORD? Yes we are, if we are still in darkness to The Light of Truth and worshiping a god of our own making, which cannot save. If however we have escaped the darkness of not knowing The Truth by receiving The Light of HIS Son, then we are to make known to all men The Truth HE has revealed to us. It is in receiving The Light of HIS Son that we are sent into all the world to tell all nations of The Truth of GOD, that all might come and draw near unto HIM, through The Only One, Who can save.

What are the Conditions...
Click the blue links for more infomation

1. To be called the people of GOD? Exodus 19:5,6 - (To obey HIS Voice and keep HIS Covenant of Love.)
2. To be called by HIS Name? (To know HIM and HIS Maker- and glorify HIS Name through our witness of HIS Name)
3. To become humble before the LORD? -(As we seek after GOD, HE prepares our hearts by The Light of HIS Word to praise HIS Name, that He, Who shines in us, as The Light of GOD, might shine to all, who are of a contrite spirit to see and receive The Truth of GOD, WHO lifts up those, who are humble in heart.)
4. For presenting our request in prayer to GOD? (To repent of the thoughts of our hearts, and humbly confess our faults one to another, and pray for each other that we might be healed.)
5. For seeking the Face of The LORD? (Confess, or acknowledge our offence against God and repent of the thoughts of our hearts to seek HIS Face.)
6. For turning from our wicked ways? (We must repent and forsake our ways and our unrighteous thoughts and turn to HIM while He is near.)
7. To hear from heaven that our sins are forgiven and we are healed? - (We must have ears to hear and eyes to see that we might understand with our hearts and be converted and He, Who is near will heal us.)

As we looked at this list of conditions with there supporting verses, none of these conditions would be understood by the person, who is full of pride. For the Word says, "The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts" (Psalm 10:4).

By humbling ourselves in obedience to the hearing of HIS Voice, and keeping HIS Covenant of Love and Mercy, Which HE has given to us, we are then able to confess and acknowledge the wrong we have done to those, whom we have hurt by or sin. By accepting HIS Revelation in our hearts, we are then able to repent of our sins by forsaking them and praying for those, whom we have hurt by our sins. By forgiving each other of the wrong that was done to us, we open the way for our relationship to be restored to each other, and would prepare our hearts to confess and repent of the sins we have done against GOD.

If there is pride in our hearts, we will not humble ourselves to submit to the hearing of HIS Voice, or the revealing of HIS Will that we might confess and acknowledge the sins we have done to HIM. And although we have ears to hear and eyes to see that we might receive HIS Will, many will not hear and acknowledge that the thoughts of our hearts are being taught in error to HIS. Without a humbled heart we cannot repent of our ways that we might be restored in One Fellowship with HIM. To continue following the thoughts and ways of our own heart, means that we see no errors in our thoughts and ways, and we become blinded to the receiving of HIS Truth. As a result, the thoughts and ways of GOD remain hard to understand or comprehend, and many are not able to repent and forsake of their thoughts and ways that they might be healed.

It was John, who was sent of GOD to proclaim HIS Word and said, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with GOD, and the Word was God. The Same was in the beginning with GOD. All things were made by HIM; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. In Him was Life; and The Life was The Light of men. And The Light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not." "That was The True Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. He came unto His Own, and His Own received Him not. But as many as received Him, to them gave HE Power to become The Sons of GOD, even to them that believe on HIS Name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of The Only Begotten of The FATHER,) full of grace and truth" (John 1:1-5,9-14).

Dwelling among men and revealing Himself as He, Whom The Father has sent, The Word of GOD said, "...I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him" (John 14:6,7). GOD has given HIS Covenant of Love to man, and man have torn Him to shreds, and then nailed Him to a cross. He came to reveal to man the Hidden Wisdom of GOD, but many of His own people, who are called by HIS Name, rejected Him to follow their own thoughts and ways. Yet, HE kept HIS Heart of Love open to those, who would receive Him.

After stating the conditions for the healing of the land in 2 Chronicles 7:14, The LORD by HIS Word said, "Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place. For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually. And as for thee, if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, and do according to all that I have commanded thee, and shalt observe my statutes and my judgments; Then will I stablish the throne of thy kingdom, according as I have covenanted with David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man to be ruler in Israel."

"But if ye turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments, which I have set before you, and shall go and serve other gods, and worship them; Then will I pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it to be a proverb and a byword among all nations. And this house, which is high, shall be an astonishment to every one that passeth by it; so that he shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and unto this house? And it shall be answered, Because they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, which brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold on other gods, and worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath he brought all this evil upon them" (2 Chronicles 7:15-22).

Today many might read this passage of Scripture and think in their thoughts that this passage of Scripture does not apply to them, because they do not believe that they are serving and worshiping other gods. Therefore, they will continue to seek the Face of GOD while rejecting HIS Voice, Whom HE has sent to reveal HIS Face and keep us in HIS Way. By sending and establishing HIS Covenant of Love in the heart of man, The Voice of GOD has Testified of The Father and said, All Power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of The Father, and of the Son. And of the Holy Ghost teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.

Do we not believe that The Father has given HIS Son all Power in both the heaven and the earth that HE might glorify The Father in Himself through us? Through Paul He testified and said, "Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

"Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment." "But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God" (1 Corinthians 1:3-10,24).

Paul testified of Him as The Power of GOD working in him and through him when he said, "...my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

"But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

"Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned" (1 Corinthians 2:4-14) .

The things of GOD remains as foolishness to the natural man, because he has not received The Same Mind and Judgment of GOD by Christ, that he might be restored in the One fellowship with The Father and The Son. John testified of This Fellowship when he said, "That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ" (1 John 1:1-3).

Through Paul, GOD has made it clear by HIS Word that there is a spirit that is of this world, but not of GOD. It is a spirit that has been seeking to receive the worship of man, by causing him to promote and proclaim his thoughts and ways over The Thoughts and Ways of GOD. Understanding the battle that is going on in this world for the hearts and minds of men and women, Paul testified and said, "Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:

"But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:12-18).

If the heart of man cannot behold the glory of The Son, Who reveals to us The Glory of The Father, how then can the heart of man transform into The Same Image of Glory, to glorify HIM, WHOM he cannot see? Because the heart of man have been blinded to The Truth of GOD, men have accept for years the images of (A), (B), and (C), as the collective (A). If someone comes along with evidence to proved that (C) is actualy (B), and the evidence can be proven to show that there is no (C), only the renaming of (B) and (A), then by the support of the evidence, there is only (A) and (B).

When the hearts of men shall turn from leaning on their own understanding to look upon the glory of The Lord, then with unveiled faces we shall be changed into The Same Image of Him, Who expresses in Himself The IMAGE of The Father, WHO sent Him. However, if pride remains in our hearts to be blinded to The Truth, a person will not accept The Glory of The Father, as HE is revealed to us in The Person of HIS Son, Who is revealed as The Word of The LORD, or The Spirit of The LORD throughout the Old and New Testament respectively.

Speaking to those, who rejected His doctrine, The Spirit of The LORD said, "Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go. Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man. And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me. It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true. I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me. Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also" (John 8:14-19).

Because the spirit, which is of the world, desires to keep the hearts and minds of men blinded to The Spirit of Truth, Paul was motivated by The Lord Jesus Christ, Who is The Spirit and Power of GOD to write to the church and say, "Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

"But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake" (2 Corinthians 4:1-5).

Through Paul, it is clealy revealed that it is Christ Jesus The Lord, Who is preaching to the church through His servants and not they themselves. The prophets as well as the disciples submitted themselves to The Father's Will that HIS Son might Witness through them of the Father's Glory. To reveal clearly The Spirit of Truth to our hearts, it is written, "For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us" (2 Corinthians 4:6,7).

Through John, who was made of flesh and blood, The Spirit of Truth has revealed Himself to us by saying, "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world" (1 John 4:1-4).

GOD The Father has WITNESSED HIS Word to the conscience of man all down through (His-story) through those, who served as vessels for HIS Word. Because of HIS Testimony through them, we today have received both The Word of GOD and The Testimony of Jesus Christ. But like the wicked one, some, who believed not The Word of Truth were blinded to The Truth of GOD and have slowly began to alter The Written Word of GOD to fit and promote the views of the spirit of error. However, through His servant John, it is revealed that The Spirit of GOD is He, Who confesses that through the flesh of His servants, The Word of GOD has come to men, to draw them unto Himself. The spirit of antichrist is he, who denies The Truth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh of those, who serve Him. He, Who confirms in us The Spirit of Truth, will reveal to us that we are of God and children of GOD, because we have overcome those, who are of the spirit of error by Him, Whom HE has sent, that through us He will work to reach the world.

To make it clear to us in our proclaiming of this Truth to the world, John said, "Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son" (2 John 1:1-9).

We could spend hour after hour and point after point in proclaiming The Spirit of Truth, as the doctrine of Christ to the conscience of every man. But if the heart of man is not humbled to receive The Spirit of Truth, he or she will not be open to the receiving of The Light of GOD'S Glory as it is revealed in The Gift of HIS Son. In preparing a study for both web presentation and power point presentation, I came across an article about the "End of the 2300 days" written by our sister in Christ, Ellen G. White. She wrote this article, which can be found in the book called "Early writings- Experience and Views." On page 54.1 of that book, she writes about her view of seeing two companies bowing before the throne of GOD, and the serious result of their request in the seeking for The Spirit of GOD.

It is my prayer that we will continue to humble ourselves before The LORD that by HIS Grace, HE will shine forth HIS LIGHT of Glory in Christ in us, that we by HIS Light of Life might behold HIS Face at The coming of HIS Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
