(We thank YOU Father for the Grace and Mercy that YOU have blessed us with through The Gift of YOUR Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. May we by YOUR Power and Wisdom renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, by not handling YOUR Word deceitfully we pray, in The Name of YOUR Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.)

To prepare His disciples for the work of the heavenly calling, that He might extend through them The Bread of Life to men, Jesus said to them, "Let these sayings sink down into your ears: for the Son of man shall be delivered into the hands of men. But they understood not this saying, and it was hid from them, that they perceived it not: and they feared to ask him of that saying" (Luke 9:44,45).

We have understood from the study of The Word, that " [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17). But at the time of hearing these sayings, the disciples were dull of hearing The Word, because the enemy was promoting in their minds other interest, to keep The Word of GOD from taking root in their hearts. They heard with their ears what was being said, but they understood not The Revelation that was being delivered into their hearts. Likewise, the modern Bible translators received in their hearts the desire to present to the world a presentation of The Word, that men everywhere might receive The Word. But the enemy has sought to do the same, to keep those, who handle The Word of GOD from understanding What GOD has revealed to men by HIS Word. By keeping the translators from receiving the meaning of the sayings, the enemy would then make it difficult for them to present to the world, The Gift of GOD in their presentations of HIS Word. In other words, if man is kept from receiving The Gift of God, then he is unable to correctly represent The Gift of GOD to men.

From the Eight Translation New Testament Bible, seven of the translated versions connected the sayings of The Word to a passage of Scripture that appeared to be speaking of the events of His betrayal. And because they, like the disciples were kept from receiving the meaning of the sayings through The Gift of Faith, they translated the sayings of The Word incorrectly, leading the hearts of those, who are to receive The Gift of GOD, to miss The Key Evidence that is clearly revealed in the verses following, which would have opened the hearts of men to The Sayings of The Word of GOD.

Having received The Sayings of The Word in his heart, John testified and said, "He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all. And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony. He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true. For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure [unto him]. The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand" (John 3:31-35).

Notice that all things have been given by The Father to HIS Son, Who came from above to extend to us That, Which The Father has given unto us through Him. He is The Gift of GOD to man. Through the hands of His disciples, who received Him, He has delivered to the world by His Testimony all that The Father has given unto Him. For He has said, "...all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and [that] your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you" (John 15:15,16).

John, who received Him into his hand, as The Gift of GOD has redelivered all that The Word has revealed to him, to the seven churches in Asia, that all, who receive Him might answer the call to become Partakers of The Word. By receiving The Word of GOD in his own heart, John testified of The Word and said, "There was a man sent from God, whose name [was] John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all [men] through him might believe. He was not that Light, but [was sent] to bear witness of that Light. [That] was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not" (John 1:6-10).

By receiving The Sayings of The Word, or The Testimony that was revealed from The Father by HIS Word, John sought to bear The Fruit of The Word, and witness to men The Truth he had received. He was sent to redeliver in himself to every man and woman The unaltered Gospel, or The Testimony of Christ, Which he had received, that The Word of GOD through him might be The Witness, Who shines through us to every man and woman, who are yet in the kingdom of darkness in this world. This is the demonstration of The Spirit and of Power, Which was Witnessed through Paul. With The Sayings, or The Testimony of Christ, as his Light and Life, John testified and said, "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him" (John 3:36).

What has GOD delivered to man?

Our salvation is based not on the doctrines and beliefs of our churches, or the enticing words of manís wisdom that are presented to us, from old and new religious leaders. It is only by The Testimony of The Word of GOD, Who has been given to us, as The Treasure from above, that He, as The Power of GOD over the flesh of men might shine forth through us, as The LIGHT of The Father's Glory into this world of darkness. For Jesus Testified in His prayer to The Father and said, "...Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent" (John 17:1-3).

With a desire in our hearts, to receive and present His Testimony, as The Gift of GOD to men, The Son of Man shall be delivered into the hands of men. But what is His Testimony? What is He seeking to reveal to men?

The Gift of GOD to Man

To present any teaching, or doctrine that takes away from His Witness to us of The Father, and The Father's WITNESS to us through HIS Son, is to believe not on The Testimony of The Son, Whom The Father has sent with HIS Thoughts to our hearts. But if we believe and bear witness of HIS TESTIMONY to us in HIS Word, then according to HIS Word, we have Everlasting Life abiding in us, and we are made partakers with Him, to shine His Light and Life through us into this world of darkness and death.

It is through those, who have become partakers with Him by receiving Him that He, has promised to reveal Himself and The Father through the gospel. For He said to those, who were made partakers with Him, "...All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen" (Matthew 28:18-20).

This is the verse that has been misunderstood by men. The enemy has worked to keep The Truth from being received by faith deep down into our ears, that The Word and Power of God might not reach and take root in our hearts. If the doctrine of Christ is to preach that The Father is The ONLY TRUE GOD and He is The Anointed One, Whom The Father has sent and has delivered to men, then the question one might ask is this, "Who is The Holy Ghost, or The Holy Spirit?"

The Great Commission, as it is understood by the translators and many within the church, has been to present a teaching, which the disciples did not proclaim in their presentation of the gospel. Like the first example that was given in this series of studies, the dilemma in presenting The Truth is first found in the problem of receiving The Truth. And although the original writings of Scripture may have been preserved from one copy to another in the same language, with thousands of copies over thousands of years; the problem comes when the person copying the text, tries to translate The message from one language to another, without first receiving and understanding The Thoughts of GOD by HIS Word, Which are to be preserved in the writings of HIS Word.

To approach and try to open in another language, The Sayings of GOD by HIS Word, without first receiving The Same Mind and Judgment of GOD, by faith in HIS Word; a person translating the text of Scripture can easily loose The Thought that is given of GOD by HIS Word, from One Thought to another. This can happen, especially when the translator brings to the translation his, or her own understanding through the insertion of the punctuations, and the added words to help transmit the message he, or she has understood from the text. This is why Paul testified and said, "...I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching [was] not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God" (1 Corinthians 2:3-5).

When handling The Word of GOD, without first receiving The Wisdom and Power of GOD to Guide in our preaching, teaching, or the translating of The Written Word, men have a tendency to rely more on their own understanding than on The Judgment GOD has already delivered into the hands of men. For by not knowing by faith HIS Way, HIS Truth, and HIS Life, or seeing and receiving by faith the evidence of The Power of GOD, Who reveals The Thoughts of GOD to our hearts; a person reading, or translating The Sayings of The Great commission in Matthew 28, could easily jump to the conclusion and assume that The Lord was commanding His disciples to baptize all nations in the names of three divine beings.

Now, if there were more verses in both The Old and New Testament that presented this same understanding of this command, then we could accept this presentation of the command as being of GOD by HIS Word. But this is the only verse in all of Scripture that has presented the command, in its arrangement by the punctuations in the verse, that the church might teach and baptize all nations in the name of The Father, and of The Son, and of The Holy Ghost. All the evidence of Scripture speak of The Oneness of GOD, and of Christ and The Father as One, and HIS plan by HIS Word to make the church One with The Father and The Son. If Jesus, Who has received all POWER in heaven and earth, has given a command to His disciples to baptize the nations in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, and they were to teach the nations to observe all things whatsoever He has commanded them to observe, then there should be more evidence than this one verse of Scripture, especially in the book of Acts, that would present more evidence with these three Names for us to observe. But this is not the case.

There are three sayings in the book of Acts that present evidence of the disciples following the command of The Lord. One of the three verses gave evidence that the disciples "...baptized in the name of the Lord" (Acts 10:48). The other two verses stated that they "...baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus" (Acts 8:16; 19:5). In giving the counsel of GOD by HIS Word, Paul testified to the church at Colosse of the things to observe. He said to them, "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, [do] all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him" (Colossians 3:16,17).

Like the first example in the study of "The dilemma", we must look to GOD to confirm in our hearts The Truth of HIS Word, Whom HE has Sent, before we preach, teach, or translate HIS Word to another language. For The Word testified to us of The Father and said, "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil" (Proverb 3:5-7).

If we receive not The Mind and Judgment of God, by having faith in HIS Word, to Guide us into all Truth, then we will not comprehend, or receive The Deep Things of GOD. For The Word said of The Father and of Himself, that no man has knowledge of The Son, but The Father. And no man has Knowledge of The Father, but the Son, and he to whom The Son will reveal The Father. If The Son of God reveals to us The Father, and The Father reveals to us HIS Son, then the only other witness that has Knowledge of both The Father and The Son, are those to whom by faith The Father has delivered The Revelation through HIS Word.

It is for this reason that a Message from GOD is given to the world, as it was in the heart of John and many of the disciples, who received The Gift of GOD, to "...Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters" (Revelation 14:7).

To comprehend The Truth of The Great Commission to His disciples, we must look at the evidence revealed by faith in HIS Word, Who reveals to us HIS Truth. Is there evidence to support the teaching of three divine beings, as it is now understood by many of our churches? or is there evidence to support a teaching, which has been ordained by GOD, which the enemy has been seeking to keep from the hearts of men? You decide.

The Great Commission given to those, who partake of The Word

Because the enemy has blinded the hearts of men to The Truth of our Oneness in Christ, many translations, or versions of The Bible were led to point the hearts of men away from our fellowship with Christ, Who works The Father's Will through us, as His Temple. Through His servant Paul, The Word said, "...Now the body [is] not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power. Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make [them] the members of an harlot? God forbid. What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

"Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's" (1 Corinthians 6:13-20).

By allowing The Truth of GOD to shine clearly through him, as a living temple for GOD'S Word, Paul glorified The Father, by yielding to The Word of GOD in him, and to testify to the church of The Word, saying, "...I take you to record this day, that I [am] pure from the blood of all [men]. For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God. Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock" (Acts 20:26-29).

Notice that there is a difference between the blood of men and The Blood of The Holy Ghost, Who has Testified and revealed through Paul, The Counsel of GOD to men. Paul was not speaking by his own will, or the blood of men, as the enticing words of manís wisdom. All The counsel of GOD through him was revealed to us through The Word, Who is The Blood of the church, and has given Himself to His Temple to cleanse us from all sin. For He said, "I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every [branch] that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing" (John 15:1-5).

If Christ abides not in us, as His temple, then we can do nothing in revealing and bearing His fruit of Love, Joy and Peace to our brothers and sisters in this world of darkness, because we would be dead in darkness and death. Unless we are purged of self-seeking, which is sin against our own Body and The Spirit, Who is our Head to glorify The Father's NAME by bearing HIS Fruit through us, then we have not The Father's Offspring of Life abiding in us. Because of the enticing words of man's wisdom, which is the blood of the enemy, who leads men to walk in darkness away from The Truth, Paul, with concerns in his heart for the body temple of Christ, called the elders from Ephesus and said to them, "...of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears. And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified" (Acts 20:30-32).

Notice to Whom Paul warned the elders to place their trust. It was in The Father and HIS Word, Who builds us up to received an inheritance among all who are sanctified in The Truth. He also made The Truth of The Temple clear by saying to the church, "Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses [was faithful] in all his house. For this [man] was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house. For every house is builded by some [man]; but he that built all things [is] God. And Moses verily [was] faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after; But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end" (Hebrews 3:1-6).

His Holy Temple of Flesh

It is The Body of believers, who have received Christ in their hearts, who have become His temple to take and redeliver His words of Life and Light, to those, who have not yet received Him. Paul has testified and said, "Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, [even] the hidden [wisdom], which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known [it], they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

"But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed [them] unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

"But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ" (1 Corinthians 2:6-16).

Notice the connection that Paul makes of The Spirit of Power, Who reveals and teaches the deep things of GOD to men, and the Testimony of Christ, Who said that He is The Only One, Who has knowledge of The Father and can reveal to men the things He has seen and heard of The Father. He is The Only One through Whom all that The Father has made known to Him, He has revealed to men, as The Word of GOD. For He said in His prayer to The Father, "I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee. For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received [them], and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me. I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them." (John 17:6-10).

The only other person, or persons that can reveal to men the things of GOD is he, or they to whom Christ has made partakers with Himself, that He might teach and prepare our hearts, to know The Father, and Himself through the gospel. He is The Door through Whom The Father speaks to us and through us to those, who have an ear to hear HIS Word, Whom HE has sent.

The Only Mediator between GOD and Man

The evidence presented by The Word through Paul, reveals The True message of The Great Commission in Matthew 28. Paul testified of The One, Who demonstrated through him, The Spirit and of Power, to proclaim the things, which no eyes have seen, and no ears have heard. He acknowledged that the things he received were not by the wisdom of man, but by The Only One, Who could open to men the things that The Father has revealed to Him. For He promised to be with those, Who love Him, even unto the end of the world.

Those, who have received The Wisdom of GOD, they have received The Gift of GOD, Who reveals to our hearts The Things That have been sealed in The Book, Which no man could open but He. It is in receiving Him, as The Light of GOD that men can comprehend The Things, Which no eyes have seen, and no ears have heard. For He said, "As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and [that] your joy might be full. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and [that] your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. These things I command you, that ye love one another. If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before [it hated] you.

"If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me. If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin. He that hateth me hateth my Father also." (John 15:9-24).

It was to reveal The Father to men through Himself that The Word of GOD came to abide on earth in the flesh of men, that The Father through Him would be revealed to the hearts of men. This Revelation is revealed even in The Name that was given to Him, Which is Emmanuel, meaning God with us. Paul, who received The Word of GOD in himself, testified to us and said, "If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

"Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power. Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; And to make all [men] see what [is] the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly [places] might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

"Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory. For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what [is] the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him [be] glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen" (Ephesians 3:2-21).
