By rejecting The Gift of GOD with man's
wisdom, many have rejected The Spirit of Truth.

Being filled with The Spirit of GOD, John testified of The Truth, Who was in him and said, "He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all. And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony. He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true. For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure [unto him]" (John 3:31-34).

From John's testimony, we have received The Truth, Who revealed to us the difference in the wisdom of men, which is of the earth, and The Wisdom of GOD, Who comes to us from above. For the wisdom of men is based on the things of this earth, but The Wisdom, Who is of GOD, is from above from HIM, WHO sent Him that men through Him, might receive the things He has seen and heard of GOD.

It was to Paul, who followed the teachings and the wisdom of men, that The True Wisdom of GOD came to redirect him on the path of Light and Life. For he was in darkness to The Truth, Who is of GOD, and came from above to men. Jesus could have remained with Paul to instruct him in The Things of GOD, Which He came to reveal to men, but He said to him, "Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do" (Acts 9:7). Although there were men of this earth, who speak and teach of the thing of this earth, and not of GOD, Jesus open the door to Paul's understanding that there are men, through whom GOD will speak by HIS Word to reveal The Things of GOD. For not all, who claim to be of GOD has spoken of GOD by HIS Word. And not all, who say they teach The Word, have seen and heard The Things of GOD revealed in HIS Word.

To reveal to Paul The Will of GOD and not the will of men, "...there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I [am here], Lord. And the Lord [said] unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for [one] called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth, And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting [his] hand on him, that he might receive his sight. Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem: And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.

"But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake. And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, [even] Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost" (Acts 9:10-17).

Notice that Ananias knew of what was heard of Saul, and of the things that Saul did to the saints in the fellowship of Christ. And although he heard these things, he was willing to go and do The Will of Him, Who was sent of GOD. For Ananias was also sent of GOD to do The Will of Him, Who sent him. To Saul, Ananias testified that The Lord Jesus, Whom he saw has sent him that he might receive his sight, and through him be filled with The Holy Ghost. Through him, Paul received The Spirit, Who was sent of GOD that he also might bear His Name to the Gentiles and kings and all of Israel to be filled with The Spirit, Who is of GOD.

Like Saul, who thought he was doing the will of GOD, many today seek to go and do The Will of GOD, to open the eyes of those that are blind, but they seek to do this not by The Will and Power of GOD, Who is above all, but by the will and wisdom of men, who is of the earth, who see not The Things of GOD through HIS Word. After receiving his sight to see and comprehend The Things of GOD, Paul testified and said, "...my speech and my preaching [was] not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

"Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, [even] the hidden [wisdom], which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known [it], they would not have crucified the Lord of glory" (1 Corinthians 2:4-8).

As Saul was blinded to The Things of GOD, as revealed through HIS Word, men, who rely on the wisdom of men to comprehend The Things of GOD, have crucified The Word of Truth, because they see not The Things of GOD as revealed by GOD through HIS Word. They crucify The Word to the hearts of men, by teaching the words based on the wisdom of men. As a result, they fail to receive from GOD, The Gift, Which has been ordained of GOD unto their glory. By changing The words of God to the hearts of men, the wisdom of men given in place of The Word of GOD become that which is sealed in the hearts of men that they might not receive The Spirit of GOD sealed in their hearts. This is why Jesus revealed to us through His servan John, that "...what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony" (JOhn 3:32).

If men have not received His testimony, how then can they comprehend The Things He has seen and heard, which is ordained of GOD. To those, who would fail to receive The Gift of GOD, Paul said, "Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel: Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, [even] unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound. Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. [It is] a faithful saying: For if we be dead with [him], we shall also live with [him]: If we suffer, we shall also reign with [him]: if we deny [him], he also will deny us: If we believe not, [yet] he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane [and] vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some. Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, [and] prepared unto every good work" (2 Timothy 2: 21).

We are counseled by Paul, who as a vessel of honor bore The Name of Christ to the Gentiles that we also might be fitted for The Master's use in doing HIS Good works through us. But some in his day, as well as in ours have erred from The Faith, causing many to fall away from The Foundation of GOD, Which stands sure. Today there is much debate on the written Word of God, Which is The Foundation of our faith. And many have debated for years over their views on which manuscript of The Scriptures the churches should uphold as The True Word of GOD. This debate would not exist today if men had remained faithful to The LORD and HIS Word. But because men had fallen away from The Truth, Who was given of GOD to be sanctified in them, they had set out to establish a new foundation based on man's wisdom and not The Word of GOD.

Even the manuscript that is given to support and affirm The Foundation of our faith, Which remains sure, and have been past from one generation to another, men through their own thoughts and interpretation have sought to restructure and form the presentation of the written Word to promote their own understanding of The Things of GOD. Rather than seeking The Gift of GOD to represent to men The Name of Christ unto their salvation in Christ Jesus, men through their varying interpretations of The Word have caused many to fall away from The Faith, Which was given to the saints.

Paul counseled the church to study to show ourselves approved unto God, as a fit vessel for good works, not being ashamed of our study of HIS Word, but rightly dividing The Word of Truth that we might fill our vessels with The Treasures of GOD'S Word. For the words written in the manuscripts of The Scriptures to the churches through His servants of honor, were not divided by chapter and verse, as we have them presented to us today. The illustration presented below is not a page, or a section of a page written in Greek or Hebrew, but an example of how a one might read The Word without capitalization, punctuations with word spacing, or chapter and verse.

As you can see, if the words are recognizable, it is not easy to change what is written to some other teaching, except we change the presentation of the text in the way the words are presented to fit the wisdom of men to emphasize a teaching we would want men to receive and seal within their hearts, over the teaching of The Word; like that of Luke 23:43. It is by The Gift of GOD that are able to discern and receive The Things of GOD. For through His servant John, who received The Gift of GOD in his vessel, John testified and said, "If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.

"He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; [and] he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God." (1 John 5:9-13).

If He is in us, then we have been approved by GOD to be vessels of honor to do good works in His Name.
