When God created man, HE provided to him the Wisdom and Power of God, that by HIS Word, man might glorify HIS name in dispersing the work of darkness with the Light of HIS glory. As long as man remain connected to God, he would have the Light and Life of God. It was the Spirit of God in Adam and Eve, that enabled them to reflect the principles of God's law of love. For love is an atribuite in the fruit of the Spirit Who was dwelling in them.

Because of HIS love for man, God commanded Adam, saying, "Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die" (Genesis 2:16,17). This command given by God was for man's protection, that God might continue to abide with man, that the Light and Life of HIS glory might continue to shine through man. By receiving the Light of God's glory, man would be eleivated to the position of Light bearers in the kingdom of God. This was the position once held by Lucifer in heaven, to glorify and witness the name of the LORD to all. But now this position was given to man to not only glorify God, but to also take part in the work of dispersing the works of darkness.

However, to prevent man from submitting to the Will and Power of God, Satan deceived man into seperating from God, to depend on himself, because he was already Holy. This act of disception was and is Satan's work to keep man from reflecting the true character of God. By trusting in the serpant's translation of the Word of God over God's Word, man lost his ongoing communion with God to dispel the work of darkness. The heart of man once enlightened with the Light and Life of God was now in darkness and death due to his seperation from God. And through the history of mankind, we have seen the results of the principles of Satan's government at work upon the whole earth.

By coming to earth in the form of flesh, the Word re-presented again the Truth to men, that through receiving the Word, men might again be reconnected to God to follow the Way that leads to life. He fulfilled all the requirements of the law and lived in this sinfull world without sin. As Satan tempted and deceived man into seperating from God, likewise he tried to tempt and deceive the Power of God into trusting in Himself. But having failed to accomplish his will, he then deceive men into trying to distroy the Lord, Whom he could not control with his will.

In testifying of the Wisdom of God, Paul revealed how men were blinded from seeing the hidden Wisdom of God, and how through their blindness, they crucified the Lord of glory. The Word of God came unto His own and His own people, whom He came to save received Him not. However, John testified and said, "...As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God. even to them that believe on his name" (John 1:12).

The Word of God is the Power of God, Who is available to all who would receive Him, that through Him, we might become the children of God. But, Satan is hard at work in causing men to be deceived by placing their trust in the words of men, rather than in the Word of God, Who's abiding presents in us will help us to overcome the power of darkness.

As the Word revealed in His sermon on the mount, "Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 5:19).

By receiving the Power of God, John was sanctified by the Word to testify of Him. He said, "My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for [the sins of] the whole world. And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

"But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning. Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.

"He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes. I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake. I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him [that is] from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father.

"I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him [that is] from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one. Love not the world, neither the things [that are] in the world. If any man Love the world, the Love of the Father is not in him. For all that [is] in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

"Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would [no doubt] have continued with us: but [they went out], that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

"Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: [(but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also]. Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. And this is the promise that he hath promised us, [even] eternal life. These [things] have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.

"But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him" (1John 2:1-29).

Through His servant John, the Word testified, that the servant who keeps the Commandments of God, he or she will fulfill these principles of the law of God's government, but if that servant chooses to abide not in the Word of God, he or she will fulfill the principles of Satan's government.

The person who breaks the law fulfills these principles

  • Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
  • He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
  • He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.
  • But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.
  • If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
  • Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father:
Law of liberty
  • Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not.
  • He that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous.
  • We do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
  • Whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected:
  • He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked
  • The old commandment is the Word which ye have heard from the beginning.
  • He that loveth his brother abideth in the light
  • Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world.
  • He that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
  • He that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
  • Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning.
  • If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.
  • The principles of Satan's govenment were placed in the heart of man when man choose to receive his words of darkness and death in place of God's Word of Light and Life. This act brought about man's darkness and death by separating from the Word of Life. Today, there are men in this world of darkness, who are blinded to the Truth of God and are spreading Satan's words of darkness through disception. John identified these men as antichrists. He said that they went out from us, but were not of us. Had they been of us, they would have continued with us. These were men, who presented themselves as servants of God, to cause men to follow after them. They were men who distorted the Light of Truth to darkness and error in the minds of men.

The person that denies the Son, denies the Father WHO sent Him, for God has revealed HIMSELF to no man, but has made HIMSELF known to all men through the testimony of HIS Word (HIS Son). John has made this clear in his statement when he said, "Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: [(but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also]. Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father" (1John 2:23,24).

It is clear, that no one on earth can testify and declear that he or she knows the will of God and still deny the testimony of the Son. For the Word said, "All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and [he] to whomsoever the Son will reveal [him]" (Matthew 11:27).

From this testimony, it is made clear, that their is no one in heaven or in the earth who can reveal to us the Word, but the Father. And their is no one in heaven or in the earth who can reveal to us the Father, but HIS Son (The Word), and he to whom the Son will reveal the Father. It is the work and joy of the Father to reveal to us HIS Son. And it is the work and joy of HIS Son to reveal to us the Father. However, there is no way for us to receive the testimony of the Father in revealing HIS Son to us, except we receive HIS Word Whom HE has sent. And there is no way for us to know the Father and HIS will, except we receive the revalation of HIM through HIS Son. And there is no way for His servants to reveal the Father to the world, except the Word of God is revealed through us (the church) to the world.

If we have received the testimony of the Father through HIS Word, and the testimony of the Word of the Father, then we will rejoice to testify of the Word, that through us He might testify of the Father to the World. If we truly love Him as we say we do, we will keep His Father's commanments.

Christ is the Link between God and man. By Him,
we have Power to keep the Law of Love.

It was the abiding presence of the Father in Christ that enabled Him to fulfill and keep HIS commandments. It is the indwelling and abiding presence of the Word of God in us, that will enabled us to fulfill and keep the Father's commandments, that we might glorify the Word, Who abides in us, as He glorifies the Father, WHO abides in Him. For whosoever shall teach, that the commandments of God cannot be kept and obeyed, he or she is proclaiming that the Word of God is a liar and that Satan is speaking the truth. But whosoever shall do and teach, that the commandments of God can be kept and obeyed, he or she is proclaiming that he or she has overcome the world, because greater is HE that is in you through the Word, than he that is in the world.

John testified of the Word and said, "He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name" (John 1:10-12). For the Word testified to the Father and said, "...Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second" (Hebrews 10:9).

By receiving the Word in us, Whom the Father has sent, HE gives us Power to obey, to keep, and to fulfill the commandments of the Father.
