The Word of GOD is the Door, through Whom, the Father reveals to us the Things of GOD. It is through Him that we find all the answers to our questions. And because men have heard The Spirit of GOD from one generation to another, throughout the years of man's existents, what they have heard and have witnessed of GOD, they have written down and recorded for us in the Book we call today The Word of God.

For The Word of GOD is the only One, Who could answer the deep questions of our hearts. It is He, Who inspired the writing of His Words to be recorded for all generations that all might be blessed by receiving Him as our guide. By receiving The Word, we are given the Same Revelation that was given to John, who testified of What he saw and heard, saying, "The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified [it] by his angel unto his servant John: Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. Blessed [is] he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time [is] at hand" (Revelation 1:1-3).

According to The Word of God and The Testimony of Jesus Christ, all, who are in darkness to The Truth are blessed, if they are able to receive witness of the Revelation of Jesus Christ by reading and hearing the words of this prophecy, and are able keep those things which are written therein, for this is the Point...

"The time is at hand..."

...to bear record or to witness The
Revelation of Jesus Christ

...to be blessed by what we read and hear
from the words of His prophecy

...to keep those things, which
are written therein

...to prepare and cleanse our hearts
for The Lord's soon return

...to make the point that it is not HIS
Will that those, who love Him
to be lost

Recorded in the Word of God, we read, "...that, knowing the time, that now [it is] high time to awake out of sleep: for now [is] our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to [fulfil] the lusts [thereof]" (Romans 13:11-14).

The question some might be asking is this, "How do we cast off the works of darkness?" The Word of God has already given to us the answer to this question? We cast off the works of darkness by putting on the Amour of Light, Which is The Lord Jesus Christ. By putting on The Light of Christ, He will do the work of casting off the works of darkness from us.

The question we should seek an answer for is this, "Why should we put on Christ? Or why do we need to be in one fellowship with Him in these last days?

Peter testified of Him and said, "Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; That he no longer should live the rest of [his] time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. For the time past of [our] life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with [them] to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of [you]: Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.

"For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit. But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. Use hospitality one to another without grudging. As every man hath received the gift, [even so] minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If any man speak, [let him speak] as the oracles of God; if any man minister, [let him do it] as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen" (1 Peter 4:1-11).

If Christ has suffered for us, being yet in us as The Life of men, then as His flesh, we must submit to Him, as The Same Mind that had control over His own body of flesh to accomplish The Father's Will. If He has suffered in our flesh and have caused us to ceased from following the ways of sin by HIS Will, then He has done this in us that He might live no longer in us to do the lust of men, but to live by the Will of GOD. However, if men and women continue to choose to suffer in sin, to walk in the lust of the flesh, to not cease from doing the things against His body, Who's Body we are, he or she without The Mind and Will of Christ, will be choosing to go against the Will of GOD to their own destruction. If they choose not to live according to The Will of GOD that HE might be glorified in HIS Son in us, then they have chosen to separate from HIS time of Life forever. Confirming this, The Lord testified through His servant James and said, "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also" (James 2:26).

Another reason we should consider putting on Christ is this, not only are we to know the time or to awake out of sleep to walk honestly as in the day, but from the time of Peter's writing of His words to this day, the end of all things has been at hand. If the time was at hand then, it is even closer now to that day. For Paul said, "The night is far spent, the day is at hand". May we not put the snooze button on this alarm and return to a spiritual sleep of darkness, but awake and put on Christ that we might walk soberly, watching on to prayer and having love one for another that we might cover a multitude of sins, to Live anew in Christ for all HIS Life. "For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23).

With love in our hearts for GOD and for each other, we can hear The Father speaking to us by HIS Word, saying, "My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths" (Proverbs 3:1-6).

"The time is at hand..."

...to Remember HIS Law

...to keep HIS Commandments, which
will add to us length of days,
long life and peace.

...to write upon our hearts HIS Mercy
and HIS Truth that we might find favor
and good understanding in the sight of
God and Man.

...to trust in the LORD with all of
our heart

...to lean not on our own understanding

...to acknowledge HIM in all of our ways,
and HE will direct our paths.

"The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of knowledge: [but] fools despise wisdom and instruction. My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother: For they [shall be] an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck" (Proverb 1:7-9).

If we are in Christ and He is willing to obey The Father's Will in us, then we, who confess to be in Him, as members of His body, wherein The Father is pleased to dwell, we also by Him will obey The Father's Will to hear HIS Instruction and to receive nourishment from HIS Law. But those, who choose to despise The Wisdom of GOD, to fear the will of man over The Will and Power of GOD, they are choosing also to cut short their length of days and their long life of The Peace of GOD in them.

As servants of The LORD, trusting by faith in HIS Word, we will join in fellowship with His disciples by receiving The Things of GOD through them. For John said, "That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen [it], and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)" (1John 1:1,2).

By faith through their eyes, we will see The Word of Life, Who was revealed unto His disciples. And if we can see Him, as they have seen Him, then as one body with them, we also will bear witness to others of What they have seen and heard. For GOD created us from the beginning, and have been redeemed by HIS Son to bear witness of The Truth to all, for "That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship [is] with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all" (1 John 1:3-5).

"Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God" (2 Corinthians 4:1,2).

Because of this ministry of declaring and bearing witness of the Truth of the Gospel or the Revelation of Jesus Christ, those who serve The Word of Life will renounce the things of dishonesty that they by The Grace of GOD, might bear witness of The Truth, in the sight of GOD, Who watches over HIS Word to find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man. We must handle HIS Word of Life in a way that will deliver The True picture of HIS Son to the conscience of every man, that when The Word of Life is fully developed in man, all who walk in The Light of HIS Word might be changed into The Same Image of HIS Son- Jesus Christ.

Paul testified of The Word of Life and said, "Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: [Forasmuch as ye are] manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency [is] of God; Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

"But if the ministration of death, written [and] engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which [glory] was to be done away: How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? For if the ministration of condemnation [be] glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.

"For if that which is done away [was] glorious, much more that which remaineth [is] glorious. Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: And not as Moses, [which] put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which [vail] is done away in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.

"Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord [is], there [is] liberty. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, [even] as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:2-18).

As generations have done in times past, to a change for the next generation for the better or for the worst, this change is dependent upon how much of The Light of Christ is allowed to shine through from those, who see and witness The Light of Truth to those, who receive and reflect The Light of Truth. By choosing to cover up or reveal any part of The Truth in one's own life, he or she is altering The Light of Christ to be revealed more, or less from the heart to those that seek to walk on The Same Path of Light and Life. If as ministers of The Word of Life, we care for those, who follow The LORD by HIS Word, we will allow The Light of Christ to shine in His pure and Holy Nature that He might cleanse first our hearts that through us He might cleanse the hearts of those that follow The Truth, that all might reflect The Same Light The Father has revealed to us in HIS Son.

If as ministers of The Word, we hide The Truth, to keep from revealing That, Which is True, those, who follow the ways of darkness to mishandle The Word of Light and Life is not only seeking to cover up a sin to those, who follow, but by not stepping up to be in alignment with The Light of Truth, he or she is exposing to others the sin that is hidden within their own lives.

The disciples of The Word of GOD said, "...If our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them" (2 Corinthians 4:3,4).
