How do we reject the Witness of God in our hearts?

"...The eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen" (Matthew 28:16-20).

We reject the Witness of God in our hearts when we fail to accept and believe the Word of Life and observe the things He has commanded us to observe through the testimony of His servants. Speaking on behalf of the Father, the Word of Life, the other disciples and himself, John testified and said, "That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen [it], and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)

"That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship [is] with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full" (1 John 1:1-4).

It was John's desire to share the Word of Life with us that our Joy in Christ might be full, but this was not the desire of all the disciples who followed with them. For John said, "Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would [no doubt] have continued with us: but [they went out], that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

"But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth. Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: [(but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also]. Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. And this is the promise that he hath promised us, [even] eternal life" (1 John 2:18-25).

In the introduction to the study on the Spirit of unbelief, the question was raised, To whom do all these religious leaders and their followers of the religions of the world give the glory and the honor? If they bear not the Fruit of God by HIS Word of Truth, they will be taken away as a branch that is withered, which bears no Fruit. But if that leader or that religion abides in the Vine of Life, the Father of Life will purge that branch, that the leader and his followers might bear more Fruit. HE will do this because of HIS compassion for HIS creation and for HIS LOVE for HIS people.

All that we need to accomplish the change from a dead branch to a Fruit producing branch is submitting our heart to the Word of Life, for He is the Light and Life of men. However, there is the power of darkness that will use what ever means possible, including using men who are in the dark of knowing the Truth that they might keep men from establishing that connection to the fellowship to God.

The Light that shines in Darkness

the Word of God by our unbelief.

Through Paul, it was revealed that none of the princes of this world knew of the hidden Wisdom of God, which was ordained by God before the world unto our glory. For had they known this Wisdom of God, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. Today, many of the servants of the God have gone into the world with the compassion of the Fathers Word in their hearts that through them, the Power of God might share the gospel to their fellow men. But many are persecuted for wanting to share the Gift of God with their brothers and sisters in this world of darkness.

Their are many, who desire to be apart of the fellowship of God, but because of unbelief and doubt in knowning the Truth, Whom the Father sacrificed to reveal, they speak evil of those, who testify of the Truth. Some may even seek to work against the Truth, yet it is by God's Fruit of Love, Grace and Mercy that their hearts can become changed to glorify HIS mame. A perfect example of this is the person of Saul, whose heart was changed to become Paul. He, who once persecuted the saints of God, became a preacher of the gospel to the churches of the New Testament.

There are many in the world that are being born into the Light of Christ from a state of total darkness. However, this growth requires submission to the Truth as the Word reveals and confirms Himself in our hearts. But this growth does not come without a fight from the adversary. As the Word said, "...My brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places]. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

"And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak" (Ephesians 6:10-20).

When the Lord returns to take His harvest home with Him, will He upbraid His church because of unbelief? What will He say? He would say what was said, "He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward [is] with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

"I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed [are] they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without [are] dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, [and] the bright and morning star. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

"For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and [from] the things which are written in this book.

"He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with you all. Amen" (Revelation 22:10-21).

Do we believe what the LORD has revealed to us by HIS Word? If we accept not HIS Word, then there is no other way that we can accept the Father to enter His Kingdom. For What He has reveal to His bride--the church, is the work that leads to Seeking His Face.
