To receive Him we must accept Him, but to reject Him, men
must replace Him with something, or someone else.

To those, who would be the children of GOD, Luke wrote and said, "The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: And, being assembled together with [them], commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, [saith he], ye have heard of me.

"For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight" (Acts 1:1-9).

Has The Father extended The Power of HIS Witness
to the world through the church?

The Promise given to the disciples, to be witnesses of Christ, in going to the uttermost part of the earth, is still being fulfilled by Christ through the church to this day. For through the example of Luke's testimony, he was filled with Power from on high to witness to the world both The Things he had seen and heard of Christ, Whom he had received. Yet, the question on the hearts and minds of many in the church today is this, "Is The Power from on high a third divine being, or is He The Fulfillment of The Promise of GOD to those, who believe and do HIS Will, as revealed by HIS Word?"

To comprehend The Truth of The Power of GOD from on high, Luke wrote of John the Baptist, who testified of What he saw and heard. Luke said, "...the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness. And he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins" (Luke 3:2,3).

Notice that John the Baptist was commissioned not by man, or the will of the flesh, but of GOD WHO sent him to do HIS Will. How did GOD commission John to do HIS Will? The answer is by The Power of HIS Word, Who revealed HIS Will to him. For GOD sent HIS Word to John, to go and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins, and to use water as a symbol to cleanse from sin all, who would turn from their sins to do HIS Will. And although John was commissioned to baptize with water unto repentance, Matthews gave his account of what he heard of John's request of God. He said, "In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight" (Matthew 3:1-4).

Notice the message by John, to those, who would be restored to The Kingdom. He was saying, To repent of your sins, and not to continue in them, or to remain in them, but to turn from them and live by walking in newness of Life. Why? Why should they repent? For the Kingdom of Heaven was at Hand. The time was fulfilled, and The One, Who was promised of GOD, was at hand to restore those, who would receive HIS Extended Hand. The Power was at hand to them, just as HIS Hand is extended today to all, who would receive Him.

Matthew testified of John, who "...when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance: And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to [our] father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

"I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and [with] fire: Whose fan [is] in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?" (Matthew 3:6-14)

Notice that all, who would be gathered as wheat into The Kingdom of GOD, are to bear The Good Fruit of HIS Judgment by following GOD'S Way. For GOD, by HIS Good Judgment of Life, has given His church The Wisdom to know what is sin that we might repent and reject that which leads to death, and follow HIS Gift, Who leads to Eternal Life. If men maintain their path of sin, then they are rejecting The Gift of GOD'S Judgment to follow their own way into darkness and death. But by The Grace of GOD, John was sent as a witness to prepare the hearts of men to receive Him, Who was at hand, that men might receive The Light of Truth, or The Way, Who will guide men to repent of their ways of darkness and death, to follow Him, Who is The Light and Life of man.

The Pharisees and Sadducees were deceiving their own hearts, promoting to men that they were walking in The Light, when they were in darkness to The Truth, Who was at hand. John was sent before Hand to cause the people to examine where they stood in their walk with GOD, to make a choice, to choose Life by repenting from their sins, rather than continuing on the path of darkness and death. The message is one that the church should be preaching today to all, who would avoid being gather as the chaff to be burned with unquenchable fire. For without The Spirit of Truth, men cannot choose the path of Life to turn away from death. And like the Pharisees and Sadducees, who led the people, many in the church today are unable to choose The Truth, because many of our leaders are following error.

John accepted The Truth, or The Holy One, Who was at Hand, Who would cleanse and baptize men, not just with Water unto repentance, but with The Holy Ghost and with fire into The Kingdom of GOD. All, who sought not to justify their condition of sin, and would turn to repent of their sins by receiving Him, He was and is at hand to cleanse and baptize them with The Holy Ghost from on high. For the disciple John testified of Him and said, "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us" (1 John 1:8-10).

It was in preparing the hearts of men for His coming that John the Baptist sought also to be baptized by Him, Who would come. Yet, Jesus came unto John, to be baptized by him. Matthew testified that "...Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer [it to be so] now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased" (Matthew 3:15-17).

What happen at the baptism of Jesus?
Is The SPIRIT a Third Divine Being?

To those, who would receive The Gift of GOD, Who is at Hand of GOD, the disciple John testified and said, "He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true. For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure [unto him]. The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him" (John 3:33-36).

To confirm and seal within our hearts What The Father had given Him to be received by us, Jesus testified to Isaiah the prophet, of the words He had received from The Father to be recorded as a Witness, not just in the scrolls of The written Word, but to be written in the hearts of all, who would receive Him. For Isaiah testified of Him and said, "...there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;

"And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins" (Isaiah 11:1-5).

From this passage of Scripture, some might think and reason within their minds that Jesus was baptized not by One Spirit, Who descended from GOD out of heaven, but was baptized with seven Spirits, Who came down from GOD out of heaven. If men were to follow this reasoning, then they would naturally conclude that there is not just three Divine Being in The GODHEAD, as some have already concluded, but that there are nine Divine Beings in The GODHEAD, Which include The Father, The Son and The Seven Spirits of GOD. This however is not What The Father has revealed to our hearts by The Gift of HIS Word, Who is also Spirit in The Form of Flesh.

By HIS Word, Who Testified through His servants, we today have received The Truth that The Father is The HEAD of HIS Son and has given to HIS Son HIS SPIRIT, not by measure, but have given into His Hand all things in both heaven and earth. It is The Son, Who is The Head of The Body, (The Church), which has received His Gifts according to HIS Will, WHO works HIS Will by HIS Word through those, who receive and believe in Him.

Why did The Father place all things
into The Hand of HIS Son?

It is The Witness of HIS words, Who was sent to His Bride and said, "...Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great" (Luke 9:48). Through receiving The Gift of GOD in his heart, Luke served The Lord as a holy messenger of God, to proclaim The Truth of The SPIRIT, WHO is received in the hearts of men, who hear HIS Word.

It is with the same openness and Oneness of heart that the disciples received The Gift of GOD, to give in return The Same Counsel of God, by HIS Spirit of Love to each other, and to those, who would be saved in The Kingdom of GOD. For Jesus said to His disciples, "He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me" (Luke 10:16).

It was by The Spirit of Understanding that Paul was made to see his Sin to repent of the path he was on, which was to despise those, who were doing The Will of GOD. Paul testified and said, ...I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? [it is] hard for thee to kick against the pricks. And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; Delivering thee from the people, and [from] the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee,

"To open their eyes, [and] to turn [them] from darkness to light, and [from] the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision: But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and [then] to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance" (Acts 26:14-20).

Notice that the same massage that John the Baptist was sent to proclaim, Paul was now called upon to proclaim to men, who were in darkness to The Truth of GOD in HIS Word. Jesus did not sent another Divine Being to speak to Paul, but came Himself and revealed to Paul The Truth he was rejecting through those, who were sent in His Name.

Is the church today proclaiming The Truth,
Who is given by GOD to the church to
proclaim to the world?
