The Law of Love fulfilled in and through HIS people
to love the Father's Law of Love.

It was Jesus, the Word of God, Who said in His prayer to the Father, "...Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do" (John 17:1-4).

Notice that the Word came to earth in the form of flesh to be the perfect example for man to follow. As man's Example, the Father gave to HIS Word a work to accomplish on earth (to reveal the Father as the only TRUE God and Himself, the Word, Whom the Father has sent). And He said to those who received Him, "...I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

"Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou [then], Shew us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works" (John 14:6-10).

As man's Example, Jesus made it clear to His disciples, that He did not depend on Himself to fulfill the will of the Father. He said to them, "He that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him" (John 8:29). "Believe me that I [am] in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake" (John 14:11).

As man's Example in fulfilling the works of the Father, Jesus revealed to His disciples, that it was the Father, WHO did the works through HIS Son that pleased HIM. And for this reason, Jesus says to all those who seek to do His Will, "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me" (John 14:1). "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do [it]. If ye love me, keep my commandments" (John 14:12-15).

As the Father was with HIS Word in fulfilling the work of revealing the Truth of HIMSELF and HIS Son, so it is that together, the Father and the Son will make it posible for the servant of Christ to keep the Law of Love, the Ten Commandments. For the Word said, "I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. At that day ye shall know that I [am] in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

"He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me" (John 14:18-24).

Speaking of His disciples who believed on Him, Jesus in His prayer to the Father said, "Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee. For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received [them], and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me. I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we [are]" (John 17:7-11).

Knowing that it is the work and will of the Father through HIS Word to fulfill in us the desire to choose Life, the Servant of the Word said, "Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom [be] glory for ever and ever. Amen" (Hebrews 13:20,21).

"Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling [them] out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present [you] faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, [be] glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen" (Jude 1:21-25).

Notice that the Father was pleased to accomplish the works that were completed by HIS Word, and that the Word will be filled with exceeding joy to be able to fulfill the Will of the Father in us, and to bring us into fellowship and glory with Himself. Notice also the clear message from the Word, that it is the Father, WHO makes us perfect in every good work to do HIS Will, working in us to do that which is wellpleasing in HIS sight. And HE does this through HIS Word, Jesus Christ, that the HE might be glorified in HIS Son.

By Christ working through Paul as a True husbandman in caring for the church, Paul said, "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform [it] until the day of Jesus Christ: Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.

"For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ. And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and [in] all judgment; That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ; Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God" (Philippians 1:6-11).

The Truth of the fulfillment of God's Will in us is this, that if the Word has commanded His servants to do the will of the Father (to keep the commandments of God), HE, the Father has already provided the Power in HIS Word to do HIS Will. For the Word said, "...All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son,

"and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen" (Matthew 28:18-20).
