It's one thing to know that you have a problem, but it's another to understand the cause of the problem. To try and fix a problem when you do not know the cause is a waste of time and resources and those who have tried eventually give up hope. Others have placed their trust and faith in other means and some have even placed their trust and faith in themselves, because in their mind there is no one in whom they might place their hope. For this reason many live their lives to the extreme without taking thought of the outcome of tomorrow, which will answer for their deeds of today.

For thousands of years, GOD has been revealing to man the evidence of HIS Son coming to dwell among men that HE might show us The Way. However, because of man's lack of understanding, God has also revealed to man through the prophets what man would do to HIS Son, due to their darkened minds.
Isaiah, a prophet of old, presented a question to God
saying, "Who hath believed our report? And to whom is the
arm of the LORD revealed? For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way;
and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
"He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his
generation? For he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
"He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied:
by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many;
for he shall bear their
iniquities. Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors"

After reading Isaiah's prophetic account, we understand more clearly what it meant for the Son of God to come into this world and sacrifice His Life to save man from eternal death. By coming to earth and taking on the form of flesh, He removed the sin of man, i.e., the separation of man from God. By becoming God with us, He restored the connection which man broke. But as Isaiah said, the LORD had laid on Him the iniquity of us all. In other words, the burden of reaching the whole world with the message of His Life-giving Power was resting on Him. If man did not accept Him as The Gift of Life, man would be eternally lost.
He came from the glory of the Father into this world of darkness and death to show us the way of Light and Life. But the heart of men, whom He came to save, despised and rejected Him. Even The Word by the mouth of the prophets, whom The Father sent before Him; they were despised and rejected of men.
Although Christ lived among men, it wasn't until He was actually separated from the Father in death that He became as we are, i.e., dead due to separation from LIFE. From the time of man's sin, everyone in this world has been living by the grace of God, i.e., man continues to receive life by the grace of God, even though we are separated from the source of life like the bulb that was disconnected from the Power Source. In order for man to have Eternal Life, we must choose the Gift of life through receiving Christ. Without Christ, we have no life. This life that we now have is given to all men as a free gift from God, by His grace.
To continue giving Life to those who do not want Life would be an act of force by God. However, because of God's love for us and because He knows that we are without understanding, He has provided this grace period in which all may have the opportunity to choose Life through accepting the Gift of HIS Son (Jesus Christ).
It was Christ Who said, "You shall have life, and have it more abundantly". The life we now have apart from Christ is as a flower cut from the source of life. However, in the act of accepting Christ, we have accepted Eternal Life and will be restored to Life forever.
From Isaiah's prophetic account, the people to whom Christ came to give His life despised and rejected Him. Today, men are continuing to despise and reject The Word of God. He became one with us, yet without sin, that we through Him might be restored to Life with Him forever. Why would men continue to reject their only source of hope?
In fellowship with the other disciples, Paul wrote and said, "If our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them" (2 Corinthians 4: 3, 4 ).
"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us" (2 Corinthians 4:5-6).
It is the objective of the prince of darkness, i.e., the god of this world, to blind, or cover the minds of men with lies to keep men from seeing the Truth, i.e., The Light of the glorious gospel of Christ. For Satan knows that if men would see The Truth and the glory of God in Christ they would be drawn to Him as a flower is drawn to the light of the sun.
In revealing the problem to the church in Corinth, Paul said to them, "I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching [was] not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
"Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, [even] the hidden [wisdom], which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known [it], they would not have crucified the Lord of glory" (1 Corinthians 2: 1-8).
It is clear from Paul's understanding that if men had received The Word of God and understood The Truth, they would not have crucified The Lord of glory. It was the objective of the prince of darkness to cause men to be blinded to The Truth that they would in fact destroy The Truth from being made known and received in their own hearts.
Today, his objective is to use whatever means he can to cause all men to be cut off from Life forever. There are men preaching in churches around the world who take part in this work of darkness, not being aware of the work that they themselves are doing.
When the church follows a teaching different from the Word of Life, that church cannot be in fellowship with The Father and His Son Jesus Christ.
How was it possible for the disciples of Christ, who also lived in this world of darkness, to see and hear The Truth that they might understand the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven? How can we see and know The Truth for ourselves?
