Second Law

"Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness [of any thing] that [is] in heaven above, or that [is] in the earth beneath, or that [is] in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God [am] a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation] of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments" (Exodus 20:4-6).

Jesus, the Word of God said, "...This is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent" (John 17:3).

And in speaking to Satan, Jesus said, "...Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve" (Luke 4:8).

For HE the LORD our God is a jealous God, Who will recognize no other god with HIMSELF and HIS Son. For through HIS prophet Zechariah, the Word of the LORD came and revealed the will of the Father and spoke unto him, saying, "...Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name [is] The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD: Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both" (Zechariah 6:12-13).

Notice that the Father has revealed through HIS Word, that the Man, Whose Name is the Branch, Who shall grow up out of His place, Who also shall build the temple of the LORD, it is He, Who shall bear the glory of the LORD and shall sit and rule upon His throne. He shall also be a Priest upon His throne and the Counsel of peace shall be between them both, i.e. the Father and the Son.

Notice also that the Word did not say that the Counsel of peace shall be between the three of them. The word "both" represents only two. In almost all the letters written by Paul, the message that was presented to the church is basically the same, that Grace, Mercy and Peace is sent to the church by the disciples from the Father through HIS Son, Jesus Christ.

If we believe that the LORD our GOD is the only TRUE God in heaven, WHO revealed HIMSELF through HIS Word, Whom HE has sent, then by keeping HIS Link of Love in us, we will recognize that there is no other God but HIM, WHO created all things by HIS only begotten Son. If we have accepted this Truth from HIM, then we would not even attempt to make a god with our own hands, or worship a god we have created in our own minds.

If we have accepted the evidence that has been presented to us by the Father through HIS Word, then HE will continue to show to us HIS Grace, HIS Mercy and HIS Peace through HIS Link of Love in us, that by Him, we will keep HIS second link of love to reflect to others the Truth of the only True God and HIS Word, Whom HE has sent.

However, if we believe that their is another god, One with the Father and Son, then we are saying that the Father has not clearly revealed HIMSELF to us through HIS Son, Whom HE has sent, and that the evidence presented by HIS Word is not of the Truth. By our beliefs, we are saying that we are free to insert our own word in the Scripture, that it might fit our own ideas and traditions.

By doing this, we reject the Father's Link of Love in revealing the Only TRUE God, WHO created all things by HIS Word, Whom HE has sent. This would also mean that we are rejecting HIS Grace, HIS Mercy and HIS Peace from HIM, WHO has given to us these Gifts through HIS Word, Who seeks to abide in us.
