Introduction to this Study

There are two main reasons, for which, many on earth will fail to enter The True Fellowship of God. The first and most important reason would be our lack of faith in receiving The Power; Which God has given to us through the Everlasting Gospel. For by receiving Him, through our believing in Him, He becomes God with us, Who brings us into Fellowship with God.
The second reason would be our unbelief in not believing the good news of salvation, which God has given to men through HIS Word-the Power of God. By receiving the good news, which is God's news to man, the Word makes men and women laborers together with God, to minister the same good news to the hearts of men and women in darkness to The Truth. If we receive not The Word of God and reject the gospel given to us by HIS servants, then we are also rejecting the Holy Scriptures, Which men under the inspiration and guidance of God wrote to the hearts of men and women to give the good news of salvation.

Testifying of all who wrote the words of Scriptures, Peter said, "...We have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount. We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake [as they were] moved by the Holy Ghost. But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of" (2 Peter 1:16-21; 2:1,2).

Notice what The Word is saying to us by His servant Peter. He made it clear that The Power and coming of The Lord Jesus Christ were made known to the church by men, who followed not cunningly devised fables, but through them, the Scriptures were given that we might take heed to the Scripture as a Light that shines in our darken hearts until The Day Star Himself arises in our hearts. He also revealed that there were false prophets among them and shall even be false teachers among us that will bring in heresies in the church to deny The Lord by harming The Way of faith, and speaking evil of The Truth. Through these false prophets and false teachers, Satan will spread his seed of the forbidden fruit to cause the hearts of men and women to be blinded to The Truth and even reject The Truth from abiding within their hearts.

As The Word said to Nicodemus, "...Except a man be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit" (John 3:5,6).

Even The Word, The Day Star of the hearts of men testified and pointed all who had ears to hear, to the sure word of prophecy in the Scripture. He did this by saying, It is written." This phrase in Scripture is recorded more than seventy-five times, from both the old and the New Testament. Yet, it was made clear through His servant Peter that there were false prophets and false teachers among them, and will even be among us in our time, denying The Lord through their reasoning and speaking evil of the Way of Truth. Today, many ministers are proclaiming to preach and teach the Word of God to the hearts of men and women, who seek The Truth. Yet, after reading the written Word of God to the searching hearts, they misapply and reapply their own reasoning in presenting their word as Scripture. Peter spoke clearly on this, because he saw how easy it was for Satan to use men and himself, to deny the will of The LORD for HIS Word.

In order for the world to know The Truth of God, men needed to see the condition and darkness of their own hearts. Nevertheless, the darkness fought against The Light of Truth, and The Light of Truth continued to shine against the darkness in the hearts of men. The Lord needed to go to Jerusalem to reveal the darkness man would do against The Word of Truth, because of the darkness in the hearts of men. The Light of Truth needed to reveal to the world, the heart of God toward those, who would reject The Word of Truth. Hanging on the cross in the midst of two men in darkness to The Truth, The Word, though bruised, beaten and rejected by men, revealed The Light of The Father's heart in His prayer for all those, who have rejected Him. He said, "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do" (Luke 23:34).

It was The Father, WHO declared that Jesus is HIS beloved Son, in Whom HE is well pleased. If Jesus, Who, being born of God is The Son of God, then, if God is a SPIRIT, He Who is born of God is also Spirit, and we who are born of God by Him, we also are spirits born of God. The Father revealed this Truth to us, through HIS Word by His servant John. It was he, who was moved, or inspired by The Spirit of The SPIRIT to say, "There was a man sent from God, whose name [was] John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all [men] through him might believe. He was not that Light, but [was sent] to bear witness of that Light. [That] was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

"He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth" (John 1:6-14).

By His servant Peter, The Word said, "no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. In other words, the utterance, or the oracles of Scripture came not to men by the private interpretation of men. Yet, it is through men, who were made Holy by the indwelling presence of the Father that in and through them, HE might reveal HIS will to the hearts of men and women by HIS Word. For this reason, the Word said, "As it is written in the law of the Lord, Every male that openeth the womb shall be called holy to the Lord" (Luke 2:23). "He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me" (Luke 10:16). When we receive The Word of God from His disciples, or His true prophets, we are receiving The Word Himself. Ifwe receive Him through them, we will receive The Father through Him. And if we reject their presentation of The Word, we are rejecting Him through them and ultimately rejecting The Father through Him.

In His prayer to The Father, The Word said, "I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

"Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, [art] in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me" (John 17:14-23).

Because of this Fellowship with The Father through HIS Word, Paul testified and said, "Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ , who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

"For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to [give] the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us" (2 Corinthians 4:1-7).

Notice that through Paul, it was made clear that it was Christ Jesus, (The Anointed One), The Power of God, Who was preaching through them to the church at Corinth and not they themselves. It was the will of the Father that the Church working by HIS Power--the Word--in and through them, might preach to the hearts of men and women The Light of The Knowledge of The Glory of God. For it is The Light of Truth, Who gives Light and Life to everyone born into this world. Although the servants of The Word were themselves in darkness to The Truth and the things of God, HE The Father, by HIS Word was able to reveal to them and through them The Power to shine to the hearts of those, who are yet in darkness to The Truth. It was for this reason that Paul declared that the excellency of The Power was of God and not of themselves.

The Same Power of God is available to all who would receive Him. Yet, not all have accepted Him as The Authority by which all men should walk and live, because they believe not in Him, nor trust in Him. For as it was in the days of the early church, The Word of God became flesh and dwelt among men. Yet His own people knew Him not. Today, The Power of God is working through men, that by them, He might unveil Himself to the hearts of men. But, as it was in the days of the early church, likewise, today many are denying the identity of The Power of God, even though He said, "...I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. A-men" (Matthew 28:29).

It was important that the disciples understood from WHOM The Power came that they might do the work of the ministry. It is important for us as well to understand this Truth. The Word revealed to His disciples how the work would be accomplished, and how they would bring glory to Him, just as He gave glory to the Father. This important concept was revealed to His disciples in more than one event.

On the road to Emmaus

It's important that we believe in The Anointed One, The Christ, or The Word of God, for it is written, "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). Yet, through the teachings of men, in every nation, kindred, tongue and people, men have taught the people to believe in someone other than Christ, or themselves, who will guide men and women into a higher form of enlightenment, only to deceive the people into some form of bondage that leads to death.

It was through John that The Father by HIS Word said, "Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us for if they had been of us, they would [no doubt] have continued with us: but [they went out], that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

"Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: [(but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also]. Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. And this is the promise that he hath promised us, [even] eternal life. These [things] have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him" (1 John 2:18-29).

As The Father sent HIS servants into the world to share the gospel by HIS Word, men, who followed not the teachings of The Word of God, were proclaiming to teach The Truth. And because The Word of Truth did not sanctify these teachings as The Truth of God, the world today is confused as to the Knowledge and Foundation of Truth. Even within the Christian church, the teachings are diverse in what is claimed to be The Truth. Because of these diverse teachings and beliefs, the world has many religions proclaiming to teach The Truth to men.

Among these religions of the world, we find Atheism, Buddhism, Christianity, Eastern Mysticism, Hinduism, Islam, Jehovah's Witnesses, Judaism, Mormonism, New Age, and Spiritualism just to name a few. The question that each religious leader must answer in their claim of teaching The Truth is this, "To whom do these religious leaders and their followers give the glory and the honor?" If they are sanctified by The Word of God, then these religions will present to the world the Same Fruit in their teachings and in their walk that they are standing on that Rock and Foundation of Truth, Which is The Word of God, The Christ, The Son of the living God.

The Word said, "I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every [branch] that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast [them] into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples" (John 15:1-8).

No matter what leader, church, or religious group a person might find himself or herself following, every person on earth receives nourishment and gives nourishment from one of two kinds of fruit; either from the Tree of Life--The True Vine, or the Tree of knowledge of good and evil, which is the tree that leads to death. To those who receive the Truth of God, they will receive and present the Same Truth they have received to all men. And those, who mishandle The Word of God, will be open to the receiving of error and the presenting of what they have received as poison and error to all who would receive it.

Through them, either the Truth or the error in their teachings will be presented to others that they also might receive and present the same Truth or error to all. Whoever receive the Truth of God, he or she will know upon which foundation The True church of God is standing. For The Word has made it clear that He is "The True Vine," The Rock upon Which The True Church is standing.

Every leader, every church and every religious group, which makes the claim to present The Truth of God, will present and bear The Same Fruit of The SPIRIT, Who abides in them. They will represent The Same Fruit of God, because they are His branches to bear HIS Fruit from The True Vine. If we are not representing The Truth, it could mean that we are blind to The True Gospel, and are not willing to receive Him over own understanding. It is therefore The Father, WHO purges the branches by HIS Word-The True Vine that by HIS Word, HE might remove all errors from within the leader, the church or that religious group. HE is able to do this only through our willingness to repent of our ways that The Word of Truth might make us clean through His abiding presence.

The Word made it clear that it is His Father, The HUSBANDMAN, WHO purges every branch connected to The Tree of Life. And if one of the branches abides not in The True Vine of Life--The Word of Truth, it is cast forth from The Vine as a withered branch to be burned in the fire at the end of the harvest. For without The True Vine abiding in us, we can do nothing. And if He abides not in us, we are cast forth from Him, not because of The Father's will or His will, but because of Our unbelief in The Word of Truth to do HIS Will.
