His Holy Temple of Flesh

If we hear HIS Voice and answer His call to receive HIS Word, we become a temple for the in dwelling of HIS Word, through Whom The Father's does HIS Will, if we hold fast the confidence of our rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end. What is the hope, or The Truth that is delivered to us, that we should hold firm unto the end?

Through Paul and Timothy, The Word revealed The Light of that hope to the church at Colosse. He said, "If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and [be] not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, [and] which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister; Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church: Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; [Even] the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what [is] the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily" (Colossians 1:23-29).

Could this be the mystery of The Temple that Satan has been trying to keep hidden from the church, that we might loose The Hope that The Father has delivered into the hands of those, who become partakers of HIS Word?

Are we holding fast to the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end? Is the church today preparing to see The Face of The Lord, at His coming, while being blinded to The Truth, to proclaim and teach a doctrine of the spirit, which is different from That, Which The Father has revealed to us through HIS Word?

To confirm The Truth and the work that Christ, was doing through him, Paul testified and said, "Since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which to you-ward is not weak, but is mighty in you. For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you. Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates" (2 Corinthians 13:3-6).

If we have heard The Voice of The Lord through His servant Paul, then we have received the warnings He has revealed to us through him, that we might examine ourselves to see if we are holding firm to the faith He has once established through the teachings He has instructed His disciples to teach all nations. If we are to present ourselves perfect in Christ on the day of His appearing, then our teachings are to be based not on the wisdom of men, but on The Things He has revealed to us through the presentation of The Living Bread. But Paul was concerned about the elders within the church, who would present things that would lead The Body of the church to reject The Spirit, Who builds The Church through those, who are sent in His Name.

For He said to His disciples, "He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me" (Luke 10:16). In this revelation of our oneness with Christ and The Father, Jesus has reveal to His disciples that He has called them to be His witnesses in proclaiming His Name to the hearts of men and women, just as The Father sent Him into the world to be HIS Witness to our hearts. Through Him, The Father reveals HIMSELF to those, who will receive HIS Word. And through John, He made it clear to the church, saying, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me" (John 13:20). This is a teaching He has established in the early church, which we are to hold firm to the end. Are we holding HIS Word firm to the end?

Jesus called Paul into the profession with Himself, to take His Testimony to those, who would be called His church. Having understood the fundamental principles of the body of believers, which is The Temple of The Word of GOD, Paul wrote to Timothy, who was an elder in the church of Ephesus and said to him, "Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, [which is] our hope; Unto Timothy, [my] own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, [and] peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord. As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine, Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: [so do]" (1Timothy 1:1-4).

With the enemy working upon the body of believers to open their hearts to fables and the teachings of false doctrine, Paul wrote to Timothy and said, "I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, [and] giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and [for] all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this [is] good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For [there is] one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time" (1Timothy 2:1-6).

The Only Mediator between GOD and man.

The Only One, Who could stand as a mediator between GOD The Father and sinful man, is The One, Who is Himself God and Man, and This Person is The Son of GOD, Who became man to save men from sin. And, because of our joining with Him, to proclaim His Testimony to those, who have yet to receive HIS Truth, Peter wrote a letter to the church and said, "Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that [pertain] unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

"And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make [you that ye shall] neither [be] barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 1:1-8).

In this revelation, GOD has revealed to us the purpose of delivering to us The Gift of HIS Son, that all, who received Him in their hearts, might bear in themselves, the fruit of His divine nature. For John, who was sent of GOD with HIS Word, has testified and revealed that, "He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God" (John 1:11-13).

Today, as we read The Written Word, in both The Old and New Testament, we have come to know The Son of GOD for ourselves, by receiving Him through those, who have received Him from The Father, WHO sent Him. May we also be a true witness of The Light, Who shines through us, that He might reveal to men The LIGHT of HIM, WHO shines through Him.
