The Book that was sealed, is a Record
of The Word of GOD

by Carron Lake -

Do we really know The Lord Jesus Christ, as we say we do? Do we really know The Father, WHOM He has revealed to us in Himself? If we believe that there is a third divine being, Who reveals The Father to us with Christ, then we are saying that Jesus is not The Only Way to The Father as He has testified to the church. Neither is He the only intercessor between GOD and man, as He has testified to the church through His servant Paul. By accepting this doctrine, which came out of "The Dark Ages" of man's wisdom for the truth, many are twisting and are crucifying The written Word of God to fit and support their own private interpretation that they might build their faith, not on The Power of GOD in HIS Word, but upon a foundation that will prove to be unstable in the end.

When Jesus asked His disciples the question of His identity, it was not a third divine being that revealed The Truth to Peter, as some would say apart from Scripture. According to The Record of The True Witness of GOD, Which was in the hand of HIM, WHO sits upon the Throne, Peter testified and said of Him, "...Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed [it] unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven" (Matthew 16:16,17).

The problem with trying to comprehend The Things of GOD that are un-searchable by our human reasoning, is that men are trying to understand and discern The Spiritual Things of GOD without first receiving from GOD, HIS Gift of Faith. For The Gift of GOD to men is The Key through Whom the Kingdom is open to receive The Things of GOD. For Jesus Testified and said, "...I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

"All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and [he] to whom the Son will reveal [him]. And he turned him unto [his] disciples, and said privately, Blessed [are] the eyes which see the things that ye see: For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen [them]; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard [them]" (Luke 10:21-24).

Notice that all things have been delivered from The Father to Jesus, Who is The Son of The LIVING GOD. He Testified that no man knows Him, but The Father, and no man knows The Father, but The Son, Who came from The Father to reveal HIM in Himself. This statement confirms that it was The Father, WHO revealed to Peter the identity of HIS Son, and not someone else, as some would like to suggest. The disciples were blessed of GOD to see and hear The Things, Which many of the prophets and kings have desired to see and hear, but were not ready to receive.

The Same Way that GOD spoke to the fathers of old by the prophets, it is The Same Way by Whom The Light of Truth dawn upon the heart of Peter that he might testify to men of The Truth reveal to him. And being the last disciple of Christ to testify of The Truth to the church, John having received The True Witness of GOD in himself, testified of What he saw and heard, saying, "The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified [it] by his angel unto his servant John: Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. Blessed [is] he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time [is] at hand" (Revelation 1:1-3).

According to The Testimony of Christ through the prophets, He comes to us in the volume of The Book, Which is a written record of His Testimony. This Book that is written of Him is His Revelation, Which The Father gave unto Him, as The Messenger of GOD to men, to reveal the things, which must shortly come to pass to those, who serve Him. To receive His Revelation in our hearts, we must have a desire to serve Him. But many have received not His Testimony, because they see not by faith The Things, Which He has testified through the prophets, to be revealed to men. Because of this blindness, Esaias testified and said,"... Lord, who hath believed our report? So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:16,17).

Notice that it is by receiving The Word of GOD, through Whom we hear The Father that we might receive by HIS Word, The Gift of faith. For " is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report" (Hebrews 11:1,2).

Yet those, who are blinded to see not The Truth of GOD by faith, seek to fit their own interpretation of how The Revelation of Christ came from The Father to men. According to one interpretation, GOD gave The Book to HIS Son, Who then gave His Testimony to an angel to be given to His servant John. This interpretation of the receiving of The Testimony of Christ stands, or falls on the revealing of the person, who gave The Revelation to John. For John testified and said, "I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send [it] unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

"And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; And in the midst of the seven candlesticks [one] like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His head and [his] hairs [were] white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes [were] as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance [was] as the sun shineth in his strength.

"And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I [am] he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter; The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches" (Revelation 1:9-20).

From John's testimony, he saw The Son of Man, Who's Voice was as a trumpet and, as the sound of many waters, through whom He spoke the words of GOD. He stood in the midst of seven candlesticks, with seven stars in His hand. Out of his mouth went, not a sword with one sharp edge, or a sword with three sharp edges, but a sword with two sharp edges, as a symbol of His given Authority to speak both the words of GOD and to testify of what He has seen and heard. For That, Which He has seen and heard is as a Light to pierce asunder the soul and spirit to discern and reveal the thought and intents of the heart. Like David, Who testified of hearing The LORD speak to his Lord, John, who was on the isle called Patmos for both The Word of GOD and The Testimony of Jesus Christ, heard The Testimony of both The Word of GOD and The Testimony of Jesus Christ speaking to him.

It was through Christ, The Only True Witness of GOD to men, that John heard The TESTIMONY of The Father being reveal to him. Through The Testimony of Christ, he heard a great voice, as of a trumpet saying, "I am Alpha" and The One through Whom the claim was heard, Testified and said, "and Omega, The FIRST and The Last" respectively.

In other words, if you were to receive a call on your phone, and you heard two or more different people speaking to you through the phone, you would conclude that you were on a conference call, where more than one person could speak to you from different locations on the same call. But what if you were to receive a call where two persons, who sounded alike, were speaking to you on the same call. Would you be able to discern that there were two persons on the phone and not just one, or three? Jesus is The Word of GOD, through Whom we hear both The Father's Will and His Testimony of What He has seen and heard. For it was Jesus, Who Testified and said, "...Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.

"And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee. For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received [them], and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me" (John 17:1-8).

With These words through HIS Son, it was The Father, WHO TESTIFIED by HIS Son saying, "Keep silence before me, O islands; and let the people renew [their] strength: let them come near; then let them speak: let us come near together to judgment. Who raised up the righteous [man] from the east, called him to his foot, gave the nations before him, and made [him] rule over kings? he gave [them] as the dust to his sword, [and] as driven stubble to his bow. He pursued them, [and] passed safely; [even] by the way [that] he had not gone with his feet. Who hath wrought and done [it], calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I [am] he" (Isaiah 41:1-4).

And being One with The Father from the beginning, it was through Christ, Who Testified of The Father and said, "Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant; and Israel, whom I have chosen: Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, [which] will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen. For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring: And they shall spring up [as] among the grass, as willows by the water courses.

"One shall say, I [am] the LORD'S; and another shall call [himself] by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe [with] his hand unto the LORD, and surname [himself] by the name of Israel. Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I [am] the first, and I [am] the last; and beside me [there is] no God. And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them shew unto them. Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared [it]? ye [are] even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, [there is] no God; I know not [any].

"They that make a graven image [are] all of them vanity; and their delectable things shall not profit; and they [are] their own witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed. Who hath formed a god, or molten a graven image [that] is profitable for nothing? Behold, all his fellows shall be ashamed: and the workmen, they [are] of men: let them all be gathered together, let them stand up; [yet] they shall fear, [and] they shall be ashamed together" (Isaiah 41:1-11).

It has been revealed that The Father, "Hath in these last days spoken unto us by [his] Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of [his] glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

"And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. But unto the Son [he saith], Thy throne, O God, [is] for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness [is] the sceptre of thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, [even] thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows" (Hebrews 1:1-9).

It is being One with The Father, from before the world was that Jesus gives all honor and glory to The Father, WHO created all things through Him and by Him, Who is The Word of GOD. He Testified and said, "...I was by him, [as] one brought up [with him]: and I was daily [his] delight, rejoicing always before him" (Proverb 8:30).

Having accomplished the work of making known to men The GLORY of The Father in and through Himself, Jesus, The Power and Wisdom of GOD, has given Himself to men, as The Gift of GOD to become children of GOD. And having received This Gift, John testified and said, "He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God" (John 1:10-13).

But many in the world through darkness of man's wisdom are dishonoring The Word, The Son of The LIVING GOD, by not receiving and keeping The Things The Father has given to us in Christ. By saying that there is a third divine being from heaven, who is doing the work of revealing The Father and The Son, men through darkness of not receiving The Truth, are denying WHAT Jesus has revealed to us of The Father, and What The Father has revealed to us of HIS Son, that we might become One in Him.

Timothy, having received The Word of GOD, testified and said, "I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, [and] giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and [for] all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this [is] good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

"For [there is] one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, [and] lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity. I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting" (1 Timothy 2:1-8).

Having received The Testimony of Word of GOD, Who spoke to him Face to face, Moses represented The Word to the children of Israel and said, "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God [is] one LORD" (Deuteronomy 6:4). And being in One accord with The Father to those, who will hear and receive The Word, Jesus Testified and said, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave [them] me, is greater than all; and no [man] is able to pluck [them] out of my Father's hand. I and [my] Father are one" (John 10:27-30).

Notice that it is The Will of GOD that all men might be saved, and to come to The Knowledge of The Truth. What is The Truth that HE wants men to receive? Timothy made it clear that there is One GOD, and One Mediator between GOD and man, and This Mediator is Christ Jesus, Who gave Himself as a ransom for all. He is The only Mediator between GOD and man. By Him The Father is made known to man. And through Him The Father spoke to the prophets and speaks to us today, as The Sure Word, and record of both The Word of GOD and The Testimony of Jesus Christ, Which has been given to us, the church.

The Book that was sealed, is
The Word of GOD

Through John, "Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me. And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me. I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

"He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak" (John 12:44-50).

In seeking to glorify The Lord, Who sent them, Paul testified on behalf of the other disciples and said, "Now thanks [be] unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish: To the one [we are] the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who [is] sufficient for these things? For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ" (2 Corinthians 2:14-17).

Could it be that The Father has manifested HIS Word through the disciples to the church, in The Same Way HE has Testified and has spoken to the fathers by the prophets? Speaking of their trust in GOD, Paul testified and said, "Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some [others], epistles of commendation to you, or [letters] of commendation from you? Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: [Forasmuch as ye are] manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

"And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency [is] of God; Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. But if the ministration of death, written [and] engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which [glory] was to be done away: How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?

"For if the ministration of condemnation [be] glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth. For if that which is done away [was] glorious, much more that which remaineth [is] glorious. Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: And not as Moses, [which] put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which [vail] is done away in Christ.

"But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord [is], there [is] liberty. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, [even] as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:1-18).

The Ministration of The Word and Testimony
of GOD through His church

As The Father spoke by HIS Word through the prophets to the children of Israel, that HE by HIS Word might reveal HIS glory through those, who will obey Him, likewise HE is willing to work by HIS Word through the church to reveal The Light of HIS Word to a darknen world. But a veil of darkness remains upon the hearts and minds of men to this day, and men see not The Truth of The Word in the opening of The Scriptures, because another image has taken His place in the minds of men. In that last day, all who will enter The Kingdom of God, will enter in by receiving The Key, Who is given of GOD to all men, Who will believe and do His Will.
