Given the exalted position as a Light Bearer, Lucifer, a messenger of God was the total accumulation of wisdom and perfect in beauty. Through his wisdom and understanding received from the Lord, he was able to acquire treasures for his covering. For every precious stone upon his covering symbolized the names of those he represented before the LORD. In speaking to Lucifer, as symbolized by the prince of Tyrus, the LORD said through HIS Word, "Because thine heart [is] lifted up, and thou hast said, I [am] a God, I sit [in] the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou [art] a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God..."

"...Thou [art] the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee [so]: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou [wast] perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

"By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

"Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never [shalt] thou [be] any more" (Ezekiel 28:2,14-19).

It was through the trafficking of his lies to the hearts and minds, or the sanctuaries of the inhabitants of heaven that Satan sought to gain God's throne. By seeking the worship of the inhabitants of heaven over their worship of God in their hearts, Lucifer had sinned against God. The heart that once enthroned the law of God had broken the first commandment. And because of his many lies against God, he became a false witness of God and broke the nineth commandment. The Light of the Knowledge of the glory of God that once shined out of his heart to the hearts of those who received his message now included darkness.

Messengers of darkness

Through His servant Solomon, the Word said, "A naughty person, a wicked man, walketh with a froward mouth. He winketh with his eyes, he speaketh with his feet, he teacheth with his fingers; Frowardness [is] in his heart, he deviseth mischief continually; he soweth discord. Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; suddenly shall he be broken without remedy. These six [things] doth the LORD hate: yea, seven [are] an abomination unto him:

"A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness [that] speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren" (Proverb 6:12-19).

These things that are hated by God were the fruits that were found in the heart of Lucifer. Because of the multitude of his lies, his heart was lifted up and was filled with violence. Through his war against God's law of love, by veiling the Truth with his misrepresentations, he sowed discord as a seed among the inhabitants of heaven. As a result, the faces of those who once received the Light of the glory of God from his heart now saw darkness. It was for this reason that the Word revealed in the unvieling of the Truth, that darkness was upon the face of the deep.

In order to reveal the Truth to all the inhabitants of heaven, God created a way that all might understand HIS Truth. "The earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] upon the face of the deep. And Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that [it was] good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night..." (Genesis 1:2-5).

"For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to [give] the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us" (2 Corinthians 4:6,7).
Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, [even] the hidden [wisdom], which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known [it], they would not have crucified the Lord of glory" (1 Corinthians 2:6,7).

It was to reveal the Truth about God, that through HIS Word, the Father created the earth and everything in it to proclaim the good news of God through the (Gospel). "For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed [it] unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified [him] not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened" (Roman 1: 19-21).

Reasons for creating man on the earth
To reflect HIS Light upon the face of the deep.
To reveal the Truth of God through the gospel.
To reveal the righteousness of God by faith.
To reveal the Truth about God's wrath upon all
who are ungodly and unrighteous, who hold the
Truth in unrighteousness.
To make clear the invisible things of God
that they might be understood by all through the
things that are created, even HIS eternal Power
and Godhead, that all are without excuse.

After spreading his misrepresentations of God to the children of God, Satan worked to keep man from representing correctly the Truth character of God. However, those who shall believe in the Word, the Messenger of God, they shall live by HIS Light and Life. "For it became him, for whom [are] all things, and by whom [are] all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified [are] all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren, Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.

"And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me. Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil. And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage" (Hebrews 2:10-15).

Messengers of Light
The Father sent HIS Power, HIS Spirit, HIS Messenger, the Word,
that by the Truth, the church might be sanctified to glorify the Word,
as He glorifies the Father.

After declaring HIS Word of Truth and Light to His servants, the disciples with John, testified and said, "That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen [it], and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship [is] with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

"And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us" (1John 1:1-10).

After the Word has declared these things to us, the question that comes to our minds is, "What is sin, that we might not remain in darkness and death?" To enlighten our minds with HIS Truth, the Father said through HIS Word by His servant John, "Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

"He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. Not as Cain, [who] was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous" (1John 3:4-12).

To reflect the LIGHT
or fall in darkness.

He that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for HIS Seed remaineth in him. Law of liberty He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. Whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, but of the wicked one, the devil.

From the testimony and evidence presented through the Word, we see that the Light and foundation of God's throne is HIS Law of Love. By seeking to gain the worship of the inhabitants of heaven, Lucifer broke the law of God through his misrepresentation, or his lack of reflecting correctly the Light of God's glory. To reveal the Truth, the Father created the earth by HIS Word to present HIS principles of Life that all may come to the Knowledge of the Truth. But Satan, now bent on presenting his ways as better than God's Way, became an adversary against God's law and sought to cause all to worship him by following his ways, or causing them to reject God's Way.
