The Two Natures of Christ, Who is
one with GOD and one with man.

“The Sovereign of the universe was not alone in His work of beneficence. He had an associate--a co-worker who could appreciate His purposes, and could share His joy in giving happiness to created beings. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God." John 1:1, 2. Christ, the Word, the only begotten of God, was one with the eternal Father--one in nature, in character, in purpose--the only being that could enter into all the counsels and purposes of God. His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6. His "goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting." Micah 5:2. And the Son of God declares concerning Himself: "The Lord possessed Me in the beginning of His way, before His works of old. I was set up from everlasting. . . . When He appointed the foundations of the earth: then I was by Him, as one brought up with Him: and I was daily His delight, rejoicing always before Him." Proverbs 8:22-30. (Patriarch and Prophets, pg 34, par 1)

“Jesus Christ laid off His royal robe, His kingly crown, and clothed His divinity with humanity, in order to become a substitute and surety for humanity, that dying in humanity He might by his death destroy him who had the power of death. He could not have done this as God, but by coming as man Christ could die. By death He overcame death. The death of Christ bore to the death him who had the power of death, and opened the gates of the tomb for all who receive Him as their personal Saviour.” (Lift Him Up, Page 345)

Notice that The Human nature of Christ was a combining of His Divinity with humanity. The humanity of Christ did not exist from Eternity, to be one of three Divine Beings. He is The Son of GOD, Who gave of Himself to be like man in humanity. There are two Eternal beings in The Godhead, but one divine being has two natures, to be The Divine Son of GOD, and also The Human Son of Man, to be The Head of the redeemed race.

Ellen G. White wrote and said, “Two Natures Blended in Christ.--Through being partakers of the divine nature we may stand pure and holy and undefiled. The Godhead was not made human, and the human was not deified by the blending together of the two natures. Christ did not possess the same sinful, corrupt, fallen disloyalty we possess, for then He could not be a perfect offering.--Manuscript 94, 1893.” (Selected Messages Book 3, Page 131.1)

It was Christ Jesus, Who in His human form, said of Himself, “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, [they] are spirit, and [they] are life” (John 6:63). And because the flesh profits nothing of itself, He said before this, “As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever” (John 6:57, 58).

According to Jesus Own Testimony, His human nature lives by The Father, WHO sent Him. And as He lives by The Father, WHO sent Him, we shall live by His Spirit, Who is sent from The Father to all, who would receive Him.

Paul wrote and said, “For [there is] one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time” (1 Timothy 2:5,6). He also said, “Now a mediator is not [a mediator] of one, but God is one” (Galatians 3:20).

Notice that the Trinitarian view of The Godhead puts the human nature of Christ, as a third Divine Being with GOD The Father from the days of Eternity. This view denies Christ His humanity, and His oneness--His Atonement with humanity. If Jesus, Who is flesh in the nature of man, which was created by Him, then His human nature is divine, and He has no connection with humanity, to save us from or sin of being disconnected from GOD, WHO is The SOURCE of Eternal Life.

Notice the statement by Ellen G. White, which says, “The Comforter that Christ promised to send after He ascended to heaven, is the Spirit in all the fullness of the Godhead, making manifest the power of divine grace to all who receive and believe in Christ as a personal Saviour. There are three living persons of the heavenly trio. In the name of these three powers,--the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, those who receive Christ by living faith are baptized, and these powers will cooperate with the obedient subjects of heaven in their efforts to live the new life in Christ.” (Bible Training School, March 1, 1906 par. 2) and (In Heavenly Places, Page 336.2)

This statement did not say, There are three divine persons of the heavenly trio, did it?

Notice the reason why Jesus needed to be human.... Ellen G. White wrote and said, “Jesus Christ laid off His royal robe, His kingly crown, and clothed His divinity with humanity, in order to become a substitute and surety for humanity, that dying in humanity He might by his death destroy him who had the power of death. He could not have done this as God, but by coming as man Christ could die.” (Lift Him Up, Page 345)

Just as Christ gave His Gift of Life to all living things, (which derived their life from Him), He gave His divine Life, to dwell in a human body among men. He, Who is Eternal Life, He could not have dwelt among men in the expressed glory of The Father, because man in his condition of sin would have been destroyed at the brightness of His glory. That’s why Adam and Eve hid from Him, Whom The Father sent unto them.
