How Important is it for us to Remember and Keep GOD’S Covenant Word of Life? I hope you will read this carefully, because your life will depend upon the choice you are making.

Through GOD’S Covenant Word, by Whom HE spoke to Abraham, HE said to him, “As for me, behold, my covenant [is] with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee” (Genesis 17:4, 5). HE said to Abraham, “This [is] my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee…” (Genesis 17:10).

Speaking of GOD and HIS Covenant Word to men, Paul said of Him, “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For [there is] one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time” (1 Timothy 2:4-6).

When Moses received from GOD The Covenant of HIS Word, to deliver Him to Israel, it written that “…it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses' hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him. And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him” (Exodus 34:29, 30). Moses’ face shone, because GOD’S Covenant Word was in him. Moses was the living vessel, whom GOD used to deliver HIS Covenant Word to the children of Israel.

Through Moses, The Word of GOD spoke to the children of Israel and said, “Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he [is] God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations; And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face. Thou shalt therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command thee this day, to do them. Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers: And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee. Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle” (Deuteronomy 7:9-14).

GOD’S Ark of Safety “So the posts went with the letters from the king and his princes throughout all Israel and Judah, and according to the commandment of the king, saying, Ye children of Israel, turn again unto the LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, and he will return to the remnant of you, that are escaped out of the hand of the kings of Assyria. And be not ye like your fathers, and like your brethren, which trespassed against the LORD God of their fathers, [who] therefore gave them up to desolation, as ye see. Now be ye not stiffnecked, as your fathers [were, but] yield yourselves unto the LORD, and enter into his sanctuary, which he hath sanctified for ever: and serve the LORD your God, that the fierceness of his wrath may turn away from you.

“For if ye turn again unto the LORD, your brethren and your children [shall find] compassion before them that lead them captive, so that they shall come again into this land: for the LORD your God [is] gracious and merciful, and will not turn away [his] face from you, if ye return unto him. So the posts passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh even unto Zebulun: but they laughed them to scorn, and mocked them” (2 Chronicles 30:6-10).

Through His servant Malachi, GOD spoke by HIS Covenant Word, and said, “For I [am] the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept [them]. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts….” (Malachi 3:6, 7).

Receive you Receive Me Receive HIM When Jesus taught His disciples of GOD’S Will, He said to them, “Let these sayings sink down into your ears: for the Son of man shall be delivered into the hands of men. But they understood not this saying, and it was hid from them, that they perceived it not: and they feared to ask him of that saying. Then there arose a reasoning among them, which of them should be greatest. And Jesus, perceiving the thought of their heart, took a child, and set him by him, And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great” (Luke 9:44-48).

“And when ye come into an house, salute it. And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you. And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet” (Matthew 10:12-14).

“He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward. And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold [water] only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward” (Matthew 10:40-42).

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me” (John 13:20).

Rejecting Him Rejecting HIM, WHO sent Him “Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me. And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me. I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak” (John 12:44-50).

You have Done it to His Brethren In GOD’S Covenant Word of Love delivered to His brethren, Jesus said, “If ye love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15). And if we Love Him, we will show our Love for Him by loving all, whom He was sent to redeem. And if we love them, then we will love Him through them, whom He has redeemed. And if we love Him, Who has redeemed us, then we will love HIM--The Father, WHO sent Him to redeem us from this world of sin and death.

The Father said by HIS Covenant Word, Who revealed HIS Will and said, “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness [of any thing] that [is] in heaven above, or that [is] in the earth beneath, or that [is] in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God [am] a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation] of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

“Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day [is] the sabbath of the LORD thy God: [in it] thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that [is] within thy gates: For [in] six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them [is], and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it” (Exodus 20:4-11). Notice that in The Sabbath command, both the word “Remember” and the words “to keep” have been given in this command. Yet, it is the one command that many are saying that of The Commandments, the forth Commandment has been abolished.

If Christ Jesus is The Covenant of GOD’S Word of Life, Who is delivered unto men that they might choose Life in Him, and men choose to despised and reject Him, to crucify Him upon the cross, and He, having raised from the dead on the first day of the week; is He obligated to remember and keep those, who did not believe on Him, or kept Him, as GOD’S Covenant Word of Life to them?

The thief, who was crucified with Jesus on his own cross, he said to Him, “…Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee To day, shalt thou be with me in paradise” (Luke 23:42, 43). Was Jesus making a Covenant Promise to him that he would be in paradise with Him? If the thief is dead, awaiting his reward of Eternal Life; Who is it that has The Power of Life to remember The Covenant Promise that was given to the repentant thief? Is it the thief, who is still dead, or The Christ, Who is GOD’S Covenant Gift of Life to a thousand generations? The thief had faith in Christ Jesus, even while He was on the cross. But how many today have faith to keep The Covenant Promise GOD has made by The Gift of HIS Son?

In the parable, not of nine virgins, but of the ten virgins, five virgins went in to the marriage and Jesus commended them. But then, “Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh” (Matthew 25:11-13). Notice that these virgins that came to Him afterwards, they said, “Lord, Lord, but He said, “I know you not.” Through David, The Word of The LORD Testified and said, “For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish” (Psalms 1:6). The first five virgins went in with Christ at His second coming. The foolish virgins that called upon Him afterwards, they called upon Him at the third coming, which is His coming to execute His Judgment, after the thousands in heaven.

Speaking of The Master of The House, Luke wrote of Him, Who said, “When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all [ye] workers of iniquity. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you [yourselves] thrust out. And they shall come from the east, and [from] the west, and from the north, and [from] the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God. And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last” (Luke 13:25-30).

Notice that those, who begin to knock at the shut door after Christ has come and gone, they will not see Him until the third coming, for they will awake from their graves thinking it is His second coming. Although they say they have eaten and drank in His Presence, and that He taught in their streets, He says to them that He knows them not, because they are workers of iniquity. This word iniquity only applies to the work one does in breaking GOD’S Law, which many are saying has been abolished. Yet, those, who are the receivers of The Covenant of GOD’S Word, such as Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, they will be in the kingdom of GOD. But those, who rejected The Covenant Word of GOD, they will show their regret by their weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Jesus said, “He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day” (John 12:48). He said of them, “Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching [for] doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, [as] the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition” (Mark 7:7-9).

Jesus came to us through the prophets of all The Scriptures, and He comes to men through those, who are sent in His Name. Speaking of those, who persecuted Him through those, who are sent in His Name, Jesus said, “And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done [it] unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done [it] unto me. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. (Matthew 25:40-43).

Jesus said, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand” (Matthew 7:21-26). Notice that the ten virgins are revealed in both the wise man and the foolish man. The wise man built his house upon a rock, Which is The Covenant Word of GOD. The foolish man built his house upon the sand of man’s traditions.

For those, who did not remember Christ Jesus, He did not confess them before His Father. But those, who received Him, as The Covenant Word of GOD, from The Father, He confessed and said, “I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee. For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received [them], and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me. I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them” (John 17:4-10). Notice that He has confessed that they have kept GOD’S Covenant Word, and He is glorified in them.

By Christ being glorified in those, who keep The Covenant Word of Life, John wrote and testified of the adversary, and said of him, “…the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ” (Revelation 12:17). The adversary cannot make war against those, who keep The Commandments of GOD, if they have been abolished. Yet, if the adversary is making war against those, who keep The Covenant Word of GOD, it is because he is working through those, whom he has blinded to The knowledge of The Truth, because he deceives the whole world to worship him, rather than The True Christ, Who is in heaven, and is soon to return to receive those, who have kept His Covenant Promise.

I pray that you my brothers and sisters will understand where you are standing in these last days to make sure you are among those, who have received GOD’S Word of Promise, and are keeping HIS Covenant Word of Life, to be in you, to fulfill the hope of glory? I pray also that you can and will remember HIS Covenant Word of Life, because He is your Eternal Life in GOD. Amen.
