When GOD by HIS Word called Moses to serve HIM in leading the children of Israel out of Egypt, HE was his provider and sustainer, not only for Moses and the children of Israel, but for the great multitude of mixed people who left Egypt under the leadership of GOD by HIS Word through the hands of Moses and Aaron. When they were thirsty for water, HE by HIS Word gave them water to drink. When they were in the wilderness, which was an unbearable place for such a great multitude, HE sent The Angel of HIS Presence to give them shade by The Pillar of Cloud from the heat of the sun. When they needed light in the camp, The Angel of GOD’S Presence, was a Pillar of Fire, to gave them The Light that they needed at night. When the Pharaoh of Egypt and his army came after them, to return them to slavery, The LORD by The Angel of HIS Presence placed a wall of darkness against the enemy on one side, and He gave Light to the children of Israel, in protecting them from their enemies. And when the children of Israel were hungry for food, GOD by HIS Word fed them Manna from heaven. He blessed them by being their Channel of GOD’S Blessings in meeting their needs. But when the mixed multitude complained to Moses, to receive their version of fast food, which displeased GOD and Moses, GOD made a way to provide even for those, who rejected HIS Provisions.

As Moses served The LORD in ministering HIS Word of GOD’S Blessing to the children of Israel and the mixed multitude, he began to feel the burden of meeting the needs of the children of Israel and the mixed multitude that complained to him for the food that they grew accustomed to eating in Egypt. And so he cried unto The LORD, to provide help to him in meeting the needs of the people. And The LORD said unto Moses, “…Gather unto me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom thou knowest to be the elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them unto the tabernacle of the congregation, that they may stand there with thee. And I will come down and talk with thee there: and I will take of the spirit which [is] upon thee, and will put [it] upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear [it] not thyself alone” (Numbers 11:16, 17).

The Spirit that was upon Moses was The Spirit of HIS Son of GOD through Whom The LORD manifested HIS glory to the children of Israel. Paul testified and said, “…brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; And did all eat the same spiritual meat; And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness. Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted” (1 Corinthians 10:1-6).

As Paul has revealed in his letter to the church at Corinth, there are many things that we in these last days need to learn from the examples that have been written for our learning, especially as we draw nearer and nearer to the end of our wilderness experience in the times in which we live. As we see the events that were prophesied in Scripture taking place, and being fulfilled right before our eyes; many are still unaware of the times in which we live. And they like the mixed multitude are not being prepared for the times in which this world is now entering before the coming of The Lord.

It is for this reason that the ministry of “The Light of The word” was formed, to shed The Light of GOD’S Word to those, who are yet in darkness to The Light of Truth found in GOD’S Word, and to feed them with The Bread from heaven by the study of HIS Word. Like Moses, who was called to serve The LORD in ministering HIS Word to a great multitude of people, many are called to serve The LORD by being a blessing of Christ Spirit to someone right where they are in presenting HIS Word, to shine The Light of HIS Word through them, as a channel of HIS Blessings, to those, who are still in darkness to The Spirit of HIS Word.

Like Moses, who was instructed to call the seventy elders and leaders of Israel, to be his helpers in serving The LORD by ministering to the needs of the multitude, The LORD took of The Spirit of HIS Word, Who was in him and put The Same Spirit of HIS Word on them, to help Moses serve and minister to the needs of the people. Jesus also called to Himself helpers to serve the people wherever He ministered to their needs. Then He sent them out and gave to them gifts to minister to the needs of His body the church. As members of His church, we all are called to serve Him in some capacity, using the gifts that He has entrusted to us for His Glory.

As of April the 25th of this year, the ministry of “http://www.thelightoftheword.org” has been a channel of HIS Blessing in ministering The Word of GOD for thirteen years. And the number one study for every year since the ministry has been ministering The Word of GOD has been the study that deals with the “Forbidden Fruit” which many are still eating today and know it not. Without any advertisement, other than the ministry of The Word by mouth, from those, who have viewed the studies on the website, there has been a steady growth every year, with peak points that resulted from different studies that have been presented during that year.

As of November of 2009, I have been ministering The Word of GOD full time, and hope to continue to do so, LORD Willing. And since the ministry has been maintained and funded by my earnings from the beginning, even after going into full time ministry of presenting The Word, I have been doing small projects, and converting the items that I no longer have a need for, to maintain the website and to meet my needs. But some months do seem longer than others. And although I have some items up for sale, to convert to funds, to meet my needs and the needs of the website, there are important dates that needs to be kept, if the ministry is to continue to minister The Word of GOD through the gift GOD has entrusted to me. Yet, after recovering from a crash computer about three weeks ago, and being offline from the ministry for about a week, to rebuild my backup files on another computer, which I kept, I am able to continue ministering The Word of GOD to my brothers and sister around the world. But now the date of renewal of the website is coming up on the 25th of this month, and I was hoping to have the funds needed, to meet the needs of the ministry from the items that I have advertised for sale, which have not yet been sold. And the needed fee is short the amount needed.

As Moses looked to GOD for help in providing helpers to help him in serving the people, I have also turned to The LORD to send help in my time of need. And as Moses was instructed to call for help from the people, whom he served, I also am calling on those, to whom I enjoy serving in ministering GOD’S Word. HE has even ministered to me through the daily devotionals of HIS Word presented on the website.

In one of the devotional presented on the site, the counsel given stated that, "There are practical lessons in the Word of God. . . . That Word teaches living, holy principles, which prompt men to do unto others as they would have others do unto them, principles which they are to bring into the daily life here, and carry with them into the school above. . . . The altar and the plough are the experiences for all who seek eternal life. We know altogether too little of the greatness of the love and compassion of God. Let students put to the stretch the faculties of their mind, that they may comprehend such chapters as the forty-fifth of Isaiah, which should be placed in form, and brought into our schools as valuable studies. They will be better than romance or fable. Why have our schools been so dependent upon books which tell so little of the city we claim to be seeking, whose Builder and Maker is God? . . . Heaven is our home. Our citizenship is above, and our lives must not be devoted to a world which is soon to be destroyed. We need the Word of God revealed in living characters. What pure, excellent language is found in the Word of God! What elevating, ennobling principles!--Manuscript 96. July 20, 1899, "The Bible as Our Study Book." (The Upward Look, Page 215)

In another devotional, it is stated that, "Jesus is ministering in the heavenly sanctuary, but He is with His workers also; for He declares, "Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world" (Matt. 28:20). He is spiritual director of His church on earth, and He longs to see the members filled with a determination to labor harmoniously for the advancement of His kingdom. He has raised up a succession of workers who derive their authority from Him, the Great Teacher. He has chosen for His work men of varied talents and varied capabilities. Some of these might not be the men you would choose, but you will pass through an experience that will lead you to see that God exalts men whom you would regard as inferior to yourselves.

"When the judgment shall sit, and the books are opened, many will be surprised by God's estimate of character. They will realize that God sees not as man sees, that He judges not as human beings judge. He reads the heart. He knows the motives that prompt the action, and He recognizes and commends every faithful effort put forth for Him. The Lord uses various gifts in His work. Let no worker think that his gifts are superior to those of another worker. Let God be the judge. He tests and approves His workers, and He places a just estimate on their qualifications. He has placed in the church a variety of gifts, to meet the varied wants of the many minds with which His workers are brought in contact.

"The Lord has given to every man his work, and every man is to do the work that the Lord has given him. All have not the same gifts or the same disposition. All need to feel daily the converting power of the Holy Spirit, that they may bear much fruit for the Lord. It is not the one who preaches the gospel that provides the efficiency that makes his efforts successful. It is the unseen Worker standing behind the minister who brings conviction and conversion to souls.--Bible Training School, Nov. 1, 1909." (Ye Shall Receive Power, Page 210)

As the unseen Spirit of Christ Ministers to us in His Sanctuary, the counsel given to the church through Paul says, "Servants, be obedient to them that are [your] masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ; Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men: Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether [he be] bond or free" (Ephesians 6:5-7).

In another devotional was recorded to say that, "It is the high privilege and the solemn duty of Christians to make each other happy.....they should seize every opportunity of contributing to the good of others, distributing the abundance of affection in a chaste and sanctified love for souls that in the sight of God are just as precious as themselves, being purchased by the infinite sacrifice of His only-begotten Son. Kind words, looks of sympathy, expressions of appreciation, would be to many a struggling and lonely one as the cup of cold water to a thirsty soul. A word of sympathy, an act of kindness, would lift burdens that are resting heavily upon some shoulders. And words of counsel, admonitions, warnings from a heart sanctified by love, are just as essential as an effusion of loving sentiments and expressions of appreciation. Every word or deed of unselfish kindness to souls with whom we are brought in connection is an expression of the love that Jesus has manifested for the whole human family." If GOD has blessed you, and you have been blessed through the studies presented in this ministry of http://www.thelightoftheword.org, or you would like to be blessed through the studies presented by the ministry, and would like to help in supporting the ministry, to continue blessing the thousands that are being blessed every month through the studies, the devotionals, the illustrated Power Point presentations of the study of The Word, then you can donate what you can through the secure PayPal donate link, which is available on the website at the bottom of the Channel of Blessings page, which has a blue link right on the home page. Who knows, your monthly support, like one of the seventy helpers of Moses, could be the help that is needed, to see the ministry of “The Light of The Word” through to the completion of its’ fourteenth year.

If you do decide to give your support, there is a short delay time allowed before the transfer of funds are made available for use. And if you do decide to give your support, it would be best to do so before the renewal date, which has come due on the 25th of this month, to continue in the ministry of service, and while the donate button is still accessible. Also I need you to pray for me, to continue to have that stick-to-itiveness, to trust in The LORD, WHO sends The Angel of HIS Presence, not only to help in times of need, but as He said, He will be with us to comfort and be with us alway, which He promised, and have kept His promise. And may GOD bless you, as you look to HIM for HIS Channel of Blessings, to be a blessing through you to others.

Your brother in Christ Jesus,
Carron
