How we continue to crucify the Lord of glory
in our hearts by our unbelief

How is it that Christ died on the cross with two thieves dying next to Him, yet, only one of them will be in fellowship with Him in the kingdom of God? If Christ died to saves us all from eternal death, then why will some be saved in His kingdom and not all, who have sinned? Should not all be saved in the kingdom?

Remember what the Word said, that not every one that calls Him, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but every one that does the will of the Father shall enter the kingdom of heaven. Yet, there are many who call Him Lord and believe that they are doing His will, but He will declare to them that He does not know them.

It is sad to say, but much of the Christian world and those who learn of the things of God, are basing their beliefs and understanding of God on the traditions and teachings of men, and not by God through HIS Word. To continue to believe in these teachings when the Word has reveal clearly to our hearts all things of God, would testify to the Lord and the Father that we have reject what HE has revealed to us through HIS Son. Yet, the Scripture says, "He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

"And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God" (John 3:18-21).

Because men choose to accept and build their faith on the teachings of men, they fail to come to the Light of Truth that through them He might bear Fruit in the hearts of those who seek the Truth. For this reason, we have many religions in this world, all seeking a place in the hearts of men without the Word of Life. Yet, through Paul, the Word proclaimed, "For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to [give] the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us" (2 Corinthians 4:6, 7).

If we crucify Him in our hearts by rejecting the Truth God has revealed by Him, then, there is no other way that men on earth in their sinful state, can come to know God without receiving HIS Son. For darkness cannot exist in the presence of pure LIGHT. We know what happens to the dark when a bright light comes on in a dark room. This world will not continue to be in the dark forever. All who remain in darkness to the Truth, will fail to stand in HIS glorious Light.

The Word testified and said, "...This is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent" (John 17:3). Yet, men, through their misinterpretation and human understanding of Scripture, or their own traditions, crucify the Word of Truth by reasoning in their minds that there are different gods, or three Gods, or one God with three different personalities. By rejecting the Word of Truth, they fail to come to the Knowledge of the Truth.

For the Word said, "All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and [he] to whom the Son will reveal [him]. And he turned him unto [his] disciples, and said privately, Blessed [are] the eyes which see the things that ye see: For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen [them]; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard [them]" (Luke 10:22-24).

Again, it is sad to say, but not many who have desired to see the things that are revealed by God through HIS Word have seen them. In fact, some would suggest choosing certain versions of Scripture over other versions, because of the clarity of the modern language. Yet, what God has been seeking to reveal to many of HIS prophets and kings, many of our translators in our day have missed. And in so doing, by not seeing the Light of Truth, they crucify the Truth of God from reaching the hearts of men through their unbelief. The Lord is about to return, and so many of HIS people are in darkness as to Who is the Truth.

If men were to ask the question, "Who or What is the Truth?" He would say through us, have I been here with you for so long and yet, you do not know Me? It was for this reason that John testified and said, "That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship [is] with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full" (1 John 1:3,4).

But our Joy cannot be complete if we are not in fellowship with the Father and HIS Son. For the Son said, "If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; [Even] the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. At that day ye shall know that I [am] in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him" (John 14:15-21).

When Jesus made this statement to His disciples, He had already revealed to them that the Father, WHOM they wanted to see, was already with them in Himself. This is the reason the world could not see HIM, except they receive HIM through HIS Word. If we receive HIS Word, He will reveal to us the Father in Himself. But this indwelling of the Father by HIS Word can only take place on condition of keeping the Father's Commandments, and the keeping of the Father's Commandments can only be accomplished by receiving and loving HIS Son. For it is by the Power of God in us that we have strength to keep the Father's Commandments.

Yet, many claiming to be followers of Christ fail to manifest the Power of God in them to keep HIS law. A true follower of Christ is one who is like Christ, or one who allows Christ to live His life through him or her. And if Christ is able to bear Fruit in us by doing His Father's will, then, He will not violate His Father's will in us to break HIS law. Yet, many of our leaders in our churches around the world crucify the Word of Truth in our hearts by proclaiming that we do not have to keep the law of God. If "Christ in us" is the hope of glory, then this teaching to reject to law of God is as a crown of thorns upon the head of Christ to show our rejection of His will.

These same ministers of the traditions of men will teach how God had given to Moses the Ten Commandments that he might give them to the Jews. But they will turn right around and preach to their congregation that not all of the commandments apply to the New Testament church. If we uphold only those laws that we are willing to keep, then we break them all in our relationship to God and man when we choose to reject the ones that we are not willing to keep.

Without knowing it, they are destroying the sign that God has chosen to distinguish between those who obey HIS will from those who don't. The main reason for rejecting the commandments of God is to avoid having to face the forth commandment, which is the commandment that deals with a special time of fellowship between God and those that obey HIM. Yet many will try to prove that they are in favor with God by preaching on all Ten Commandments. However, when they come to the forth commandment, they reinterpret the command given by God through HIS Word to just four words, which says, "Remember the Sabbath day". Why should we remember something if we never focus on when it was established?

John said, "The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth; For the truth's sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever. Grace be with you, mercy, [and] peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

"I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father. And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another. And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

"For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into [your] house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds" (2 John 1:1-11).

It was the Word through James, Who made it clear how we transgress and fail to do the will of the Father when He said, "...Whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one [point], he is guilty of all. For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law" (James 2:10,11).

James could have easily testify on behalf of the Lord and say, Whosoever shall keep the whole law and yet neglect to fellowship with God on HIS Holy day, he has failed to become One with God; yet, it was for this very reason that the Father sent to us HIS Son, to restore us to fellowship with HIMSELF.

Notice that John did not indicate a third person by which the doctrine of God was given to men. He, who was loved of God, testified that whoever abide in the doctrine of Christ, has both the Father and the Son. He did not indicate a third person in his testimony.

Before sin came into the universe in eternity past, all was at peace and rest with God. But once transgression of God's law of love came in to view, disharmony in the fellowship with God was the result. This experience with sin in the kingdom of God will not last forever. It will come to an end right here on this earth. And when it is eradicated from the fellowship of God, all will be restored to peace and rest for all eternity, never to be revisited again.

By choosing to worship God on a day HE did not ordained, our church leaders without knowing it, have been crucifying the Word of Truth within their hearts, to worship God man's way and not God's Way. It was God, WHO created and named the days of the week. It was HE, Who decided on what days man should work, and upon which day we should keep holy. When we follow our leaders to keep holy another day, we show how out of harmony with HIS will we have become. It also shows us that by choosing our own ways, over God's Way-HIS Word, we bring ourselves into fellowship with darkness.

And, "If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:6-9).

Out of the heart of His servant, the Word of Wisdom said, "Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed [are they that] keep my ways. Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. Blessed [is] the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD. But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death" (Proverbs 8:32-36).
