1. What is the forbidden fruit?   2. Identifying the tree by Faith?   3. The Tree with Knowledge
4. The Sowers in the field   5. Eating the Fruit   6. Bearing Fruit

What type of tree are you becoming? What type of fruit are you producing? One way to know the type of tree you are becoming and the type of fruit you are producing is by looking at where your heart continually turns for nourishment. The Word of GOD gave an example to the church, of how we might discern the types of trees we are producing, by presenting to the church the parable of The Sower of the Seed. It is through this parable that we understand the condition, and the progress of the heart upon receiving, or not receiving The Word of God in the heart. It was in explaining this parable to His disciples that the Word said, "...He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked [one]; The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels" (Matthew 13:37-39).

In explaining the parable, The Word of GOD made it clear that He is the ONE, WHO Planted HIS Spirit as The Seed in the hearts of men. For it is written that, "In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men" (John 1:4). The Word is the One Who is sown, as the Good Seed in the hearts of men. And the devil is the one, who has sown his spirit, as the tares among the wheat. The message of warning given to the world is "...Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time" (Revelation 12:12).

From the creation of this world, God has been revealing to man and to angels HIS character of love, when He said, "...Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, [and] the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed [is] in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, [and] herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed [was] in itself, after his kind: and God saw that [it was] good" (Genesis 1:11,12).

From the heart of a loving and Just God, WHO being the source of LIFE, came The Fruit of HIS love in The Perfect Gift of HIS Word, to the hand and care of man. It was because of GOD'S Love and HIS Righteousness towards His created beings, that HE allowed Lucifer, who became Satan, a short time to reveal to men and to angels, his character of deception in his endeavor to accomplish his will to be like The Most HIGH GOD, in comparison to GOD'S character of love, Which is revealed and expressed in HIS Son. From the heart of Satan, who being the source of darkness and death, came the misrepresentation of The Word of God; revealing to man and to angels his fruit of deception, which is different from The Fruit of Self-Sacrificing Love, WHICH GOD has revealed to men by giving to men The Gift of HIS Son, and The Son gave to men His Life for us. From these two main sources revealed to the world, came the fruit of rebellion by our separation from GOD, by eating from the source of good and the evil. And the Fruit of The Goodness of GOD in our hearts, to give from the heart GOD'S Blessings to others, by our connection and faith in God, to save and bless and reach all, who are in darkness to The Truth and Life in GOD'S Word.

In understanding the parable of the wheat and the tares, and how both grow together in the same field, Peter testified to the church and said, "Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; That he no longer should live the rest of [his] time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. For the time past of [our] life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with [them] to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of [you]:

"Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead. For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit. But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. Use hospitality one to another without grudging. As every man hath received the gift, [even so] minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If any man speak, [let him speak] as the oracles of God; if any man minister, [let him do it] as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

"Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy [are ye]; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or [as] a thief, or [as] an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters. Yet if [any man suffer] as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. For the time [is come] that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if [it] first [begin] at us, what shall the end [be] of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls [to him] in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator. The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight [thereof], not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; Neither as being lords over [God's] heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.

"And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away. Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all [of you] be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle [you]. To him [be] glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen" (1 Peter 4:1-19; 5:1-11).

Peter also admonished the church to remain steadfast in the faith, because the devil is seeking to convert the souls of men from wheat to tares through his work of deception. He had over six thousand years to perfect his work of deception and many ways of accomplishing his tasked. He has deceived men into causing darkness, destruction and death, that those who are not yet rooted and grounded in the faith might be lost forever in eternal death. It is through his work of temptation that Satan draws men away from God, testing they ability to withstand his attacks. It was said by the Word of God, that a tree is known by its fruit. The true condition of the heart of a person, a people, a country or a nation is known when it is tested. Are you prepared for the test that is coming upon the earth? Do you know the condition of your heart?

In preparing our hearts for that time that is coming upon the world, the Word spoke through His servant Daniel about Himself and said, "...At that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation [even] to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame [and] everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever" (Daniel 12:1-3).

To wait until that time to prepare our heart for the test that will come will bring about an undesirable result. When Jesus was tested during His time of trouble, He revealed the good fruit of His heart. If we desire the nourishment given to us by The Word of God, then we will rely on Him to guide us into all Truth, Who will lead us to Life. The Word said, "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God." "Blessed [are] they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city" (Revelation 2:7; 22:14).
