The 1st, 2nd and 3rd Persons of His--Fullness--The Sanctuary
When GOD by HIS Word through Moses directed the children of Israel to build for Him a Sanctuary, the service that was conducted daily was done in the court and in The Holy Place, Which is The First Holy Place. GOD did not call one person to minister alone in the service of the children of Israel in both The Holy Place and in the court of the tabernacle. The LORD spoke to Moses by HIS Word and said, "...thou shalt appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, and over all the vessels thereof, and over all things that [belong] to it: they shall bear the tabernacle, and all the vessels thereof; and they shall minister unto it, and shall encamp round about the tabernacle" (Numbers 1:50). The LORD also said to Moses, "...thou shalt command the children of Israel, that they bring thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamp to burn always. In the tabernacle of the congregation without the vail, which [is] before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall order it from evening to morning before the LORD: [it shall be] a statute for ever unto their generations on the behalf of the children of Israel" (Exodus 27:20, 21).
Notice that the tabernacle of the congregation is a symbol to illustrate not only the congregation of the children of Israel, but also The House and dwelling Place of The Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Who also had a Tabernacle among His people, which is the symbol of The Holy Place that had also a Most Holy Place dwelling within Him beyond The Veil, Which is His Flesh. For it was said through Paul, saying, "Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; And [having] an high priest over the house of God; Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of [our] faith without wavering; (for he [is] faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some [is]; but exhorting [one another]: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching" (Hebrews 10:19-25).
The LORD also spoke to Moses by HIS Word and said, "...take thou unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office, [even] Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron's sons. And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty. And thou shalt speak unto all [that are] wise hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron's garments to consecrate him, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office" (Exodus 28:1-3).. Notice that Aaron, who ministered as a high priest in the tabernacle of the congregation; he did not minister alone. He had his sons to colabor with him in ministering to the needs of the tabernacle of the congregation.
As The High Priest over His Own House, which we are, Jesus said to His disciples, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do [it]" (John 14:12-14).
As a member and colaborer with Christ in His profession, Peter said, "If so be ye have tasted that the Lord [is] gracious. To whom coming, [as unto] a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, [and] precious, Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. Unto you therefore which believe [he is] precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, [even to them] which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in time past [were] not a people, but [are] now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. Dearly beloved, I beseech [you] as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by [your] good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation" (1 Peter 2:3-12).
As a living stone built up and connected to Him as The Head Corner Stone of His Spiritual House, we are to be a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation and a peculiar people, we are to show forth the praises of HIM who hath called us out of darkness into His marvelous Light by doing the same works by Him, Who works The Father's Will in and through us. As colaborers together with Christ, the disciples testified of The Father's Work by HIS Word through them. They were not Divine Beings among men, but they allowed The Divine Beings of The Father and HIS Son to minister through them to the hearts of the people in His Spiritual House. Below are just a few examples showing forth the praises of GOD, WHO works by HIS Word through those, who colabor with Christ in His Spiritual House.
GOD spoke by HIS Word through Paul, whom He sent to the church at Corinth, and he said of HIM, "...all things [are] of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation" (2 Corinthians 5:18,19). Notice in each example who is being sent to represent The Word of GOD, WHO sent HIS Word.
Being a colaborer with Christ in His work of reconciliation, Jesus instructed His disciples and said to them, "He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward. And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold [water] only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward" (Matthew 10:40-42).
Jesus had made it clear to His disciples, revealing to them, Who it is that works The Father's Will through those, who received HIS Word of Power. For "...while they wondered every one at all things which Jesus did, he said unto his disciples, Let these sayings sink down into your ears: for the Son of man shall be delivered into the hands of men. But they understood not this saying, and it was hid from them, that they perceived it not: and they feared to ask him of that saying. Then there arose a reasoning among them, which of them should be greatest. And Jesus, perceiving the thought of their heart, took a child, and set him by him, And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great" (Luke 9:43-48).
Jesus instructed His disciples and said, "He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me" (Luke 10:16).
To confirm The Spirit of Truth, Who works through and with His colaborers, The Word Testified through John, His Spiritual Tabernacle of flesh, and said, "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that [spirit] of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
"Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
"Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son [to be] the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son [to be] the Saviour of the world. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him" (1 John 4:1-16).
As Jesus said to His disciples, "If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him" (John 14:23). When The Father comes to make HIS abode with the men, who received and love HIS Word, Whom HE has sent, then the men become a living example of the spiritual tabernacle, where The Father is PRESENT in HIS Word to make their abode The Tabernacle of the congregation of His people.
With The Word of GOD abiding in the heart of John, to minister HIS Word of reconciliation to men, he testified and said, "I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth. Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: [(but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also]. Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. And this is the promise that he hath promised us, [even] eternal life" (1 John 2:21-25).
